Hotel Diamante

The location was just a few minutes walk to the main square where there are lots of restaurants and shopping. Although we didn’t use the pool, it was clean, shaded and inviting. The room was big enough with space to put belongings. A very nice, strong shower too. The staff was very friendly and helpful though we had to use Google Translate but it worked. The hotel is on a corner and sometimes the traffic was loud if we wanted to leave the window open. Also, the neighborhood dogs barked a lot at night, but that happens everywhere. Our room was at the top of the stairs and sounds and voices traveled up from the lobby. Also it was by the coffee and tea station which was removed at 10 pm every night and although they were extremely quiet putting everything away, we could still hear them. If I were to go back I’d be sure to ask for a room at the end of the hall away from the stairway.

Love the location 5 minutes away or less to the Crucecita center all the night life is only there bars ,Restaurants, vendors until 11:pm The hotel was great 2 bedrooms suit with kitchen and living room . Beautiful comfortable bed . I wish it had an elevator we had 2 huge luggages and just a recommendation they should have regular door lock for emergencies purposes. You can only lock the door or even close it with a key. A mirror would be nice there’s only a small one to brush your teeth. Last thing would be a microwave, since eating out you can bring food back .

Pool and location

I have traveled a lot around latin America and this hotel hit all the things i love but are hard to find all in one hotel: 1) hot shower, 2) coffee in the am, 3) comfortable bed, 4) no critters. In addition, it was in a perfect location from La Crucecita - walkable but quiet from the noise. 10 minutes away from National Park. Safe and secure. Highly recommend Pool water was chilly
