The pool was dirty and needed to be cleaned, but that was the only issue. My husband went to buy something from the little store here and had good service.

Very clean and roomy property. It was great to have a kitchenette and separate bedroom. The staff was wonderful. The pool was clean and refreshing. Comfortable beds. We would definitely go back.

Location was GREAT!! Birkdale Village is in walking distance and 2 mins by car. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast was great!

The location was great for what we needed. We stayed at this location many years ago and were not happy with the quality. This time was totally different. Employees were very friendly, room was nice & clean. Breakfast could have been better. The employees working were there were very nice & friendly. Unfortunately they ran out of some food, 1 of the waffle machines was not working, little things like that.

The biggest concern was the pool area. One of my kids stepped on tiny metal bristles that were scattered in the pool. When I reported this to the staff, the manager, was defensive instead of showing concern or even taking a closer look at the hazard. He even accused me of being aggressive when I was simply being direct about my child's safety. The front desk associate was also rude. As a bilingual Latino, I naturally speak both English and Spanish. I mentioned the boot in Spanish, and she assumed I was talking about them because I spoke in Spanish. She actually interrupted me to let me know she understood Spanish. I was shocked and I found that disrespectful and unprofessional. Between the poor cleanliness, the safety hazard, and the dismissive attitude from the manager and the front desk staff, this was not the level of service I expected. I usually stay at Hilton properties, and after this experience, I will not come back to the Marriott brand.
