Friendliness and efficiency of all the staff we met, particularly the young man on the desk on Saturday 22nd August. Excellent room in a well appointed and well kept establishment No dinner taken but breakfast offered a good choice without going overboard. Numerous accessible rooms on the ground floor, most unusual. Nothing really.

My husband is a Coeliac. The breakfast team were fantastic with getting him things he could actually eat (believe me, this doesn’t always happen at other places!) Dogs on site (that were clearly not assistance animals) as I am highly allergic with asthma.

Location and decor. I had emailed prior to stay to ask if possible to stay in a room overlooking racecourse but never received an answer. Prices of drinks expensive.

Air conditioning! and was a comfortable stay. No EV charger available at the property though - even though advertised Was waken up at 4:30am by someone banging multiple times on our bedroom door. Called reception & no answer. Mentioned it to reception upon departure and they said “it was probably a drunk person looking for their room”
