Huskisson Hotel

Cigarette smoke in the reception and stairs. Room decor a little dated.

Room was clean and of decent size. Pleasant smelling too, unlike other pub/bar Hotel stays we’ve had elsewhere. Nice selection of teas and coffee sachets in the room (we’re big tea drinkers). Shower water pressure was 10/10. Welcome drinks were a lovely touch. Staff super friendly & accommodation parking was adequate, conveniently located off to the side of the hotel. Not all windows closed all the way/had handles to wind shut, so noise did come through a bit (did expect some, being a weekend stay) but it also meant a bit of a draft present, keeping the bathroom and bed areas a bit cool. Not a big issue as the room’s split system worked well to keep warm. The pillows were quite flat - partner had a bit of a rough time waking up with a stiff neck. Can’t fault anything else though.

The location, cleanliness, staff and the quality of the hotel dining. The property met all our expectations… we have no complaints

Great location, view, easy parking and really helpful staff. For the price it was great. All was clean and the two free drink vouchers were a pleasant surprise. Great food at the bistro.

Room was clean and tidy. Bathroom was good. It was a bit noisy especially at close. It sounded like the staff turned up the music on the house PA after the Hotel closed. The screen door to the balcony wouldn't lock so we couldn't leave the main door to the balcony open a little to get some fresh air. Could not open a window for fresh air. Wifi was insecure. No password required.

We had a gorgeous sea-facing room with balcony where we ate in the evening and watched the town rev up for a big night. The position of our room (room 6) meant that we were not bothered by noise at all. The room was large and well-appinted, and the bed was super comfortable. We particularly lved being able to park in the private hotel car park, the welcome voucher of a free drink each (which we took up to our balcony) and the warmth and friendliness of all of the staff that we met.

Staff was super friendly, the room had everything we needed, and the location was awesome! We wished we had more time to spend in the Jervis Bay area as this was an idea location for more exploring. not applicable

Location/ staff/ bistro Probably carrying heavy luggage upstairs overall we only stayed one night so it wasn’t that difficult

The location was perfect for us to go on cruise I didnt like the steps, as they are old, and is a bit hard to get up and down if you have bad knees. I didnt like that the we were getting smoke smells in our room from outside. The noise you could hear, but that faded in and out

Location - close to beach. Room was shabby and small. The room smelt of some sort of cleaning solution trying (unsuccessfully) to hide the smell of cigarette smoke. We paid extra for ocean view but the room had no windows. There was an external door to a dirty deck with a view but shared with 3 or 4 other rooms. There were outdoor chairs and a broken table.

Spacious, clean & comfortable room with large shared balcony. Bed was comfy. Little but of noise from street & pub but it was a long weekend and you expect that when you stay upstairs at a pub. The staff were super friendly. The location was fantastic and walking distance to great food options, coffee and a few little shops. Would have liked one more pillow option but I'm sure they would have given us one if we'd asked.

Perfect location. Close to everything we needed. Had dinner there also and it was nice. Spacious room. All good but we had rain.
