Near the station. Staff friendly and efficient. Parking available at low cost. Breakfast was overall good but basic Rooms need a good refresh. Carpet was threadbare in a few spots
-
Variety of food Staff services were good. Food was excellent. Room heater didn’t work at all the last two days. More. Sofas would have been nice. Vending machines with. snacks.

We road in on motorcycles in the rain and the desk staff allowed us to park in the covered parking area behind the hotel where the staff usually parked. They also assisted us with a cart to carry our luggage to our rooms and would not take tips from anyone in our group. The back entrance was locked after 23:30 when we returned from dinner, so we had to walk around the building to the front entrance.

The staff were very helpful and pleasant. Breakfast wasn't included, so I ate it at a local café. I'd have preferred it if breakfast had been included, and had been less expensive. Otherwise, everything was good.

Very old fashioned hotel. Facilities are old. Curtain was very old and ripped, bathroom had no fan so it smelled damp.
-
Spacious. There's even space for a full makeup table and a full bath. Clean. The hotel is really old and unrenovated. It shows in the wallpaper, carpets, furniture. Felt as if I was transported back to 1970s. For this kind of price (11,000 yen per night), you can do better elsewhere.

Exceptional

The Japanese room was beautiful and HUGE! I stayed by myself and it felt like an apartment all to myself, very indulgent. Very close to the station and easy to get to Hiraizumi to see the UNESCO Temples from here. The room didn't have a door latch which might make guests worried about security when sleeping.

A surprisingly big room and very close to the train station!

Location is perfect. Just in front of the station. Good breakfast too. None in particular

Great proximity to shinkansen rail station, a very good breakfast by japanese standards. Hotel is older style however maintained to a good standard.
