We had so much fun Kevin Camping and Idlewild. Such a close walk to the whole city of Idlewild really fun. Fireplace inside so we could roast marshmallows kitchen with amenities so we could cook breakfast and dinner. Everything about it was amazing. We would definitely go back.

Very cute room. We enjoyed the comfy bed and the spa tub. The outside area was gorgeous.

It was a pleasant stay. Staff were really nice and helpful. Facility is recently remodeled so looks pretty new. It was clean and quiet. Love the trial behind the hotel as well. Will come stay here again.

The property and rooms were clean and cozy with a microwave, refrigerator/ freezer and coffee maker. The location was great. Walking distance to all downtown shops.
-
Cool property, only thing I would recommend is not staying on the first floor. Old place, you can hear every step the folks above you take.

I enjoyed my stay, I really loved and made use of the Strawberry Creek trail into town the days I was there. It was safe and a beautiful 15 minute walk along the trail. The staff was really nice and my room was nice just didn't like that my bed was so high. A step stool would have been nice, I literally had to jump up to get on the bed. I also could not figure out how to lock my sliding glass door, no one told me it was broken and had to be closed up on top, again I had to get a chair from outside to lock it which was not an easy endeavor. Other than those things it was a very comfortable room and I loved the big tv and fireplace. I would stay again but maybe not in the same room.

The staff in the front office were super nice and welcoming. Loved our stay. Very quiet and relaxing.

My favorite spot to escape. I love the charming cabins. Lisa at the front desk is also the best!!

The staff was friendly and helpful. The senior lady with blonde hair was especially funny and kind. The property was near Strawberry River along a beautiful path, It was close to shopping and places to eat.

I love staying at this hotel, especially because it’s so pet friendly. The only issue was that the patio was dirty, and there was an old ash tray with cigarettes in it. New AC system is amazing especially during the summer!

Clean room and nice staff

They had me at dogs stay free. The previous ratings don't lie. I picked the highest rated room available. Great decision. The room was unique. The aesthetic was lovely. I appreciated the books, antique laps, and fireplace. The TVs were large and offered multiple viewing options. The room was clean. There was a small fridge, microwave, snd coffee maker. Although it's located next time highway, the area was quiet and cozy. The Strawberry Creek Inn is so distinct and quaint. We were able to walk the Strawberry Creek trail into downtown. Easy access to food and entertainment. I highly recommend The Strawberry Creek Inn.

Staff was nice, room was clean, but the lock needed to fix (it was so hard to unlock)

Strawberry Creek Inn is a cute place to stay in Idyllwild. I enjoyed the lovely property and the stream that runs behind it. Our room (Ember Lodge) was roomy with nice decor. We had a fridge & microwave. The shower had good water pressure & stayed hot. Loved the soap and lotion they provided and there were plenty of towels. Some things could use improvement: The bed pillows were awful & there's no closet. The sofa & chair in the living room were not comfortable. There was no complimentary bottled water & no ice machine. There is NO bolt to lock the main door from the inside (did not feel safe.) The last step going down the stairs to the creek is too steep. The lobby office opens rather late. We were told we could get ice from the Idyllwild Inn property, but when I stopped by the next morning (close to 8am), they were still closed.

I will say the location was great. Walking to restaurants and shops and close to hiking trails. BUT I would not recommend staying there if you want a restful sleep. It really needs to be renovated to at least fix the paper thin walls.

I love the themed room with the mid-century furniture and the log pole Pine bed and especially loved the massive Private back patio with outdoor furniture under the pines where my dogs and I spent quite a bit of time. With a beautiful short, hiking trail along a Creek bed that goes from the Property to downtown Idyllwild the strawberry Creek Inn was amazing and I will definitely be back.

The room was clean and wonderful. The staff was friendly. It was very cute.

Overall it was pretty nice, only issue was hard to get hold of front desk and maintenance after hours

Stayed in one of the rustic cabins and it was just what we wanted. It's right in town but the cabins are set back from the road and a good distance apart, and Idylwild is quiet enough that it's very relaxing. Staff were all great and the town is adorable.
