Hotel room canceled and sold to another customer and claiming no credit card on my account which is false. Of course, it is payment on arrival. Even information sent on late arrival 25 hours before was not acknowledged.

The lady managing the hotel, along with her colleagues, constantly went out of their way to ensure I was very comfortable. It was my first time in Nigeria in 15 years, so I was very impressed to observe that their customer service actually exceeded what I've experienced in the UK, US and Europe....they were nice to a fault, which was very impressive.

The only minor drawback is the absence of an elevator. However, this is hardly an issue, as the staff are always readily available to assist with carrying luggage upstairs. Given that the building is just one floor, it remains quite convenient overall. A special shout-out to Debbie, who is consistently warm and delightful. She truly lights up the place and, for me, represents the face of the hotel. The breakfast was also very good, and the hotel’s close proximity to the airport adds greatly to its appeal. Please keep up the excellent standards—this level of quality and service is truly commendable.

Comfortable, clean rooms. Clean and comfortable pool area. Good food. Good breakfast, friendly staff. Fridge in the rooms, Love the showers. Staff is very friendly and inviting from the time you arrive. We will continue to stay here if the price stays the same ? We thank you so much for your continued hospitality and look forward to our next stay! ? Price of food could be a little less.

Ivy is a nice little hotel with very friendly, polite and helpful staff. It looks new, clean, well equipped and well maintained. My room was large and spacious, and the breakfast options were okay. I’ve stayed here a couple of times and always enjoyed my stay. It’s always my first choice when traveling to this part of Lagos. There are a few spoilers that may force me to look elsewhere next time: (1) Breakfast starts at 7:00am. That’s too late for business visitors, who need to head out much earlier to beat Lagos traffic. (2) There’s a major plumbing issue that causes a foul odor to waft in through the bathroom drains and fill the entire room. This was reported and partially mitigated, but the problem persisted. (3) The vanity bar above the shaving mirror didn’t work most of the time (it seemed somewhat sensitive to the power supply). I had to shave with my phone torch in one hand. From a practical standpoint, two simple light bulbs would be better. (4) The bathroom door is a swinging, partly-transparent glass door. Privacy-wise, it’s as good as no door at all. If I were traveling with my sister, daughter or mother, the bathroom would be unusable.

Many good staff, except for one that showed attitude with my laundry request. Nice room size, and door bells. Daily toothbrush replacement was mind blowing. Low water pressure in the shower, and slow water drainage in the shower, and both sinks. Food sometimes takes too long to be ready.
