Casa Aiti

Casa Aiti exceeded our expectations in every way. The pics on the website look great but they don't quite manage to convey just how stylish or special it is. We stayed in the "Beija-flor" room, with bedroom above, bathroom below and a separate but connected elevated terrace with hammock and recliner. It was beautiful. We slept with all the windows open, just the mosquito net down over the bed. Choice of pillows (hard/soft etc), comfy bed, more than enough electrical points, fridge with water, wine, beer (the white wine was super tasty, and half the price of the local supermarket), fan. The garden is beautiful, wild feeling, not over manicured, with many flowering plants and big trees. We saw a Beija-flor (hummingbird) out our bedroom window and several from the breakfast table, along with various other crazy coloured birds. And breakfast - wow. Different each day, imaginative, incredibly tasty. And Caroline was super helpful with info about restaurant recommendations, tours, things to do - we took her recommendation for an evening mangrove kayak and a couple of the restaurants, and they were all great. The location is at the quiet end of Boipeda, but the centre of town is only a short walk away. Perfect. We would absolutely go back and will be recommending to anyone. Nothing to list here...

Beautiful place and great attention to detail. A lot of effort to make it a great experience.

The owner was wonderful and friendly, the breakfast was delicious and different every day, and the staff was responsive to any of our needs. There was one issue with the shower, and there were a lot of mosquitoes, but luckily we brought a mosquito racket to help that problem. Also, there could be one more low-lit light in the shower, potentially.

We loved everything about Casa Aiti. The location is fantastic, a few minutes walk from fabulous beach and ten minutes easy walk from the town centre. Our room was really clean and comfortable with the veranda looking out onto the most beautiful garden with its many birds. The breakfasts are stunning - Caroline makes the most wonderful treats each day. And the hosts, Caroline and Emmanuel are so kind and helpful, speaking multiple languages and providing expert local knowledge of where to eat and what day trips to do. I became ill while staying there (nothing to do with Casa Aiti) and Caroline called the local ambulance and even offered to come to the health centre to translate. Nothing is too much trouble for these lovely people! Thank you for everything - we will definitely come back when we holiday in Boipeba again in a couple of years! Rien du tout!

The host is very kind and attentive, the place is well equipped and the breakfasts are very good!

The room with the big terrace was amazing. Every morning caroline, the owner will prepare a delicious breakfast for you, which changes everyday :), maybe tapioca, crepes, muffins... every morning a lovely home made surprise. Super good located very close to the beach and restaurants as well as from the town. Highly recommended for a relax holiday.

Everything is so natural, you feel you live in the jungle, still with all the comforts of home! The view from the room is incredible and for a perfect sleep you can have full darkness in the room if you'd like! The breakfasts were always different and amazing. Caroline is a great host, super kind and helpful.

Everything! Caroline made us feel at home together with her two helpers. We were expecting her breakfasts with impatience and curiosity. Every morning we were surprised with different home made bread, pastry and jam. The garden is simply astonishing, we could sit and watch the flowers and the birds and we would never get bored. Casa Aiti has a perfect location, everything is in walking distance (beach, restaurants) but away from the loud music so a person can really relax. That we could not stay longer :(

Hand made breakfast by the owner, healthy and tasty

I recently spent an incredible five days at this charming place and loved every moment! The bedroom balcony offered a breathtaking view, perfect for morning coffees and evening relaxation. The garden was lush with a variety of plants, creating a serene and peaceful atmosphere, and the stunning colourful wild birds added a magical touch to the whole experience. Caroline, the host, was incredibly helpful. She went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable. And her breakfasts? Simply the best I’ve ever had! Every morning, Caroline prepared a different selection of organic and unbelievably delicious options. I’m not kidding when I say that her breakfasts were a highlight of my stay. Had to leave

Exceptional

Everything exceeded our expectations. Caroline and Emmanuel are very attentive hosts. They provided us with an overview of the island, offering excellent tips for restaurants, tours, and directions to the main beaches. The breakfast was amazing; we couldn't be happier with it. Everything was prepared with extreme care, and you'll find an incredible variety of delicious food. Having breakfast with such a breathtaking view and various species of birds visiting was a bonus. The house is very well-maintained, and the surroundings are beautiful. The location of the house is very central, allowing easy access to both the village and the main beaches. Everything was perfect during our stay at this accommodation; we have no complaints. Unfortunately, we experienced a few power outages due to a thunderstorm that affected the entire island—something beyond our hosts' control. Consequently, we were without wifi during these periods, so it's advisable to ensure you have a reliable phone service provider when visiting the island if you want to stay connected.

Our stay could not have been better, the garden is spectacular, full of flowers and birds. The breakfast was outstanding , prepared by our hosts with love , care and style. Casa Aiti is a wonderful place to stay – calm but very close to Boipeba Velha Village. The house is very charming and surrounded by gardens with fruits and birds and all the tropical beauties you need for your holidays. The owners are very welcoming, friendly and easy going and they made the best vegan breakfast for us :) They also gave us a lot of tips for trips, places to eat and other things to do on the island. We stayed in the Miradouro Room, so we had a supercool private terrace with a hammock to chill. The room itself is superclean and cozy. We especially recommend Casa Aiti for vegans – you will be happy with the breakfast.

Exceptional

I could probably write a novel about everything we liked with Casa AITI, but to summarise: cancel all other plans and stay here. The place is absolutely amazing. The breakfast is exceptional, so even if you have booked another stay, book this one too and go eat here. You feel so welcome and so well taken care of. It is also super cute and has a lovely garden. When we arrived we were not even sure if we wanted to go to the beach because it was so relaxing staying at the property. It’s an easy 10/10, seriously, just book this place. Nothing, just go!

Great location, friendly hosts, very clean, great decoration

Excellent place to stay in Boipeba. So peaceful. Great hosts who help with everything - local tips, boat bookings, info on tide times etc. Breakfast is excellent, so much care taken with different dishes every day. Love the care taken to keep the stay sustainable - for example the property takes care to avoid generating plastic waste.
