Views, friendly helpful staff. The bed was a little awkward for two people, one person up against a wall.

The location is amazing, we are so glad we stayed at this hotel versus Oia. Minor thing, it’s a cave room so AC was a small portable unit that did just enough to make the room comfortable

Everything about Avaton was perfect! The location and view - spectacular. The staff - amazing! From the minute we arrived, we were greeted with champagne. We had our dinner reservation taken care of, our sunset cruise booked. It was a real vacation. Breakfast served to our room each morning on our balcony. Amazing. Our room was a caldera/sunset view. It had everything we needed.

Basically no soundproof, so if you have noisy neighbors, you can’t really sleep. The bathroom a bit too dark to my taste.

I hate writing reviews, but this hotel deserves my time! This hotel in Santorini exceeded all expectations—every detail, from the warm welcome to the flawless service, was perfection. The in-room breakfast was a delicious highlight, with fresh, local ingredients and breathtaking views to match. Waking up to the sweeping caldera vistas felt like living inside a dream, which continued as we spent the morning by the beautiful pool. The location is wonderful - away from the hustle and bustle, but directly on a short-path to Thira. We will be back, and I intend on taking advantage of the longer path that leads directly to Oia. Absolutely nothing.

The views were spectacular. The hotel was located in a quiet outcove by the mountainside. Very serene. The few staff there were very polite and accommodating. I had a great experience. I wish area around me was better for transporting as the taxis and bus were a bit of walk to get to. not a big deal but with time it became encumbersome.

Wonderful location and views from the hotel were second to none. Staff was great and breakfasts were excellent. The Avaton is a destination hotel and we will definitely stay there again. The pool could have been warmer. We didn't use it because it was so cold although the days were in the 80's when we stayed there in early October.

Hotel is a bit run down and needs to be refreshed. Loose tiles in showers and pool, broken toilet seats, used mattresses, …

Location, excellent friendly and helpful staff.

We absolutely loved the Avaton Resort and Spa. It gave us a real 5 star experience from the moment we arrived to the moment we departed. The fixtures and fittings in the room were of a very high standard and the view was absolutely breath taking. The staff could not do enough for us. The breakfast was also stunning! There is nothing not to like about this hotel. We will definitely be returning next year. We might even stay a little longer next time.

Avaton is a very beautiful and well-kept building overlooking the caldera. The room is spacious and very clean and directly overlooks the swimming pool. It was a regenerating stay! A special thank you to all the staff: all very kind and helpful!
