The staff, the service, food, everything was fantastic and Iconic! We enjoyed our stay, they were at our service to ensure we had a great experience and we sure did. The views from the hotel and our room as breathtaking. Nothing.

Greece, specifically Santorini, is a place I have long wanted to visit. Iconic Santorini seemed like the perfect choice- the reviews and photos raved about the views, the food, the service and the cave rooms. As we stepped onto the cliffside and saw the breathtaking views for the first time I realized that as stunning as many photos are of the island, nothing replaces seeing it with your own two eyes. At Iconic Santorini those views greet you every morning, afternoon and evening, shifting with the light but never, ever getting old. Santorini is a hugely popular island for a reason— it is crowded, painfully crowded at times. If you want to visit you have to accept that. What Iconic Santorini offers is a lovely oasis to escape the scorching sun and catch your breath — all with those incredible views. The rooms are lovely, inviting and clean (we were so lucky to be upgraded); the food fresh, flavorful and leaves you wanting more— and, the staff, warm and welcoming. It really is the perfect place to stay in Santorini. Just be prepared to climb stairs— it’s part of Santorini!

Everything about this property was outstanding and special shout out to EVA, Rani and Sozon. EVA spent first half hour when we checked in and made an absolute amazing itenerary for us for our three days. She booked and coordinated a private boat ride, a photo shoot and a rental car services for us. The entire staff was exceptional and went out of their way to take care of us. I would highly recommended iconic for anyone who wants to visit Santorini! You cannot beat this hotel’s views, privacy, food, drinks and hospitality!!!! There is nothing to not like about this hotel!!

pool had a significant amount of paint flakes in the water. complimentary “welcome wine” was mentioned when we checked in but was forgotten the first day and took a while to get to us on the second day.

Great view, breakfast, decor, staff, quiet Since it rained on and off, the outdoor lounge chairs were always wet so we couldn't use them during the non-rainy times. It would be better to have faster drying furniture outside.

Breathtaking views The stairs are dangerous and leave you exhausted. Need better lighting and handrails for all areas. The first step fr the street level leading down to hotel it’s the most dangerous

Many things. We had the deluxe caldera suite which provided us our own patio and a hot tub. Though the room size was small, it was very comfortable. We had a living room with a comfy couch, a large bathroom and bedroom. The bed/bedding were very comfortable. Since it’s literally a cave, it was very dark and so quiet. Slept like babies. We were there from the 12th to the 1he 19th. We got very lucky with near perfect weather—sunny and low 70s (sun felt warmer) each day. The iconic hotel, is one of several hotels in the mountain structure of little White House’s. Only 19 rooms. There pool was one of the few actually heated and was lovely. The breakfast was included and made freshly every morning. Good amount of choices. They have a restaurant and small bar but during the time we were there, it didn’t get a lot of action. The housekeeping was over the top. Julia came at least twice a day to bring us bottled water and ice (the water is not portable there I guess). She also straighten and brought fresh towels each time. She spent a lot of time each day. Filled the water in our coffee maker left chocolates. Just above and beyond. All of the service at this little hotel was excellent. Also, staying in Imerovigli was a great choice. The hotel structure did not have shops. It had some restaurants, which were nice but not tourists other than those stay g there. There were plenty of walkable restaurants and little whoops in the square. Fira and OIe were the ho for all the cruise ships. Really cute shops all woven through the White House structure. Very crowded and I would have wanted to be staying there personally. Those towns are not hard to reach by a cheep bus ride or taxi. I’m mid 60s and have some issues with my tissues but nothing serious. The stairs are no joke! 84 stairs from our room to the top where you go to restaurants or into town square. The stairs are not all one level either, some shorter some taller. Yiou have to be very careful—that’s all. I think they should have a shirt that says I survived the Santorini stairs ?. I left unscathed and had better cardiovascular health the. When I came. You will love it I think.

Lovely views, very nice room and accommodations, very good service. Great location in Imerovigli because it was at an easy walking distance from the top of stairs. The decor was fanstastic as were the pools in the rooms, as well as the main pool in front of the bar. Had some drinks there upon arrival.

We were upgraded to the Cliff Cave Suite, it was fantastic! This room is the furthest down, and the most private. The views were spectacular! The Staff was very friendly and efficient. We loved the stay here!

What did we like? Pretty much everything!! Just walking out of our room and looking down at the caldera or up at the completely dense whitewashed houses above us— most of which were other high end hotels— delighted us. These were sights we never tired of. They were so spectacular that it was hard to believe they were real. The view was especially spectacular in sunset from our verandah or our (shaded) sun beds or the hotel’s outdoor restaurant or its pool area .Our room—carved out of the volcanic rock —was quite spacious and very appealing. The bed into which my mother wife and I gladly sunk after a day of touring or just walking was like a welcoming pillow into which we sank — to emerge refreshed the next day — though honestly the sensation was so nice that, despite the fabulous views waiting us, we never wanted to leave our bed. Especially since we could open the shutter on our door and look out at sunset! The hotel breakfast was very good and dinner in the hotel was also good, but we normally would take a five minute or so walk up a steep set of steps to get to a main square where there were two highly rated restaurants, one specializing in fish and the other in meat. We loved the fish restaurant , the Aegean, since it also has a lovely view of the caldera and the whitewashed rooms, We ate there four times: sea bream, sea bass, snapper and on our last night lobster. These were as good as it gets. But the bonus was the scrumptious and distinctive desserts (half a dozen or so kinds) of which we tried four! (Warning: these desserts are not for those counting calories.) We especially liked the very unusual cheesecake. The staff were gracious and helpful. When our taxi came they arranged to meet it and sent two of the staff to take all our luggage down the set of steps to our room. Watching them tote two bags each while skipping down steep steps was an experience. And ditto in shlepping our luggage to meet the taxi that picked us up after our week long stay. There were minor problems but none that could take away from the beauty and charm of this hotel given the cheeriness and friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. 1. The water wasn’t potable but that was to be expected on a volcanic island. But twice daily the staff brought free bottled water to our room and they would have quickly provided more if we needed it pretty much 24/7. 2. My wife and I are not young and there are plenty of steps, but they gave us a room that minimized this problem. And they cheerfully dealt with our luggage so that we never needed to carry anything.

  • Engine customer May 2025

Breakfast was good but wanted very hot coffee or tea but by the time the waiter brought to us it was cold , only the eggs were hot rest of the food like pancakes n waffles were cold breads were cold , The very high steps to the hotel they could have made them less in height
