It's a calm area, nice well kept resort and clean. Accommodating, polite and helpful staff. Any issues were addressed swiftly. Pet friendly place. Breakfast could have been a little more varried and refilled more frequently. Our toilet kept running water one night, but that was dealt with ASAP the next day, so not a problem.

Everything was amazing. It is close to Florence (Firenze), and the road is full of beautiful sights. The breakfast was really good, and all the staff are friendly and speak English. The period of time we went, mid February, we couldn't take advantage of all the resort has to offer. I would recommend going around May. I bet it will be a perfect time.

The staff were very helpful. Bar & restaurant staff so friendly and helpful and the restaurant was delicious. Our hire car fell through and made our stay here extremely inconvenient. Unless you have your own car I do not recommend staying here.

Beautiful pool area across multiple levels with loungers and views into hillside. Restaurant lacked atmosphere and the food was pretty good expensive.

Clean room, nice bed, swimming pool and hottubs, bar and breakfast.

It was within 30mins/1hr of most attractions in tuscany. Food was good with plenty of wine to sample given the region (chianti). Nice pool area with multiple hot tubs shared & private. With guests in and out doing their own thing it never seemed over crowded which was nice The gym had most equipment but could have done with a weights bench. Lacking a lunch menu/ snack menu.

Villa Cesi is in a good location and we had a good sized room. The communal areas were all really nice. Although we had a good sized room, the shower was very small. Breakfast had a good selection, but all of the hot food like pancakes, eggs, sausages that would normally be hot, were cold and did not appear to have any way of being kept warm. Coffee in the room would be nice, as we only had Teas... If you are susceptible to Mosquito bites, bring your insect repellent, as we were not even there 24 hours and were mullered with bites after first night eating in restaurant. The other times we ate indoors, but were still batting them away at dinner unfortunately :-(

The location is perfect although it was far from pienza and san gimignano (1 hour and a half by car) But i choose it because it’s quite and to connect with nature The shower was old . Our room was full of aunts , but when i told the staff about it they give us another room which was so clean

The room was very clean and everything was new. The owner was very helpful about anything. I checked-in around 20.00 and I didn’t have any problem because the owner explained everything with details. He was so kind and friendly. The location of the hotel is very good, there are a lot of bars and restaurants and touristic places. Everything was great.

I booked one night at the hotel because i wanted to relax and have a good time. But that was impossible, because there was an event going on in the hotel. When i tried to read a book in the garden there was loud music, when i was having diner in the restaurant there was loud music and when i tried to sleep there was loud music. So overall it was not relaxed at all..

There is a bar area that has couches and tables for cards, games and socializing that is very comfortable. The grounds are very nice and breakfast is great! The location is perfect to visit many wineries and the second bed/couch was very comfortable. There was a huge party (50th reunion?) there and parking was terrible when we returned from dinner (and the people arriving to the party with their cars were very rude, so much so that I felt a bit unsafe after being yelled at and gestured while getting into a tight spot by the gate. I was a bit concerned that my rental car would be damaged and had my son walk out with me after the party ended to move it.) The music was so loud until midnight or so that I had to use earplugs and we were not the closest room-wise. Anyone closer without earplugs or with children would not have been able to sleep. There should be some private parking reserved for registered guests or at least an explanation that there would be an event that night so be aware of the parking situation and noise. it was a Friday or Saturday night, but the music was ridiculously loud. Also to charge for the gym amenities is not worth what is available.

Clean A bit noisy at the end of the shift of the restaurant, a lot of bottle and plates noise.
