Extended Stay America Suites Indianapolis Airport

The front desk woman was very friendly! Unfortunately, the front desk area smelled terrible and there were lots of people hanging around the front. Our room was clean but smelled like cigarettes and the bathroom tub and sink were in rough shape. Conditions were as expected for the price.

Hotel overbooked and sold rooms out from people who made reservations months in advance. They turned people with reservations away at the door and did not give any advance notice of the sold out hotel.

The property is in disrepair and needs an overhaul. Our fridge did not work. Stains in the bathroom tub and sink… floors were sticky. No other rooms left too move to; woulda left but too late. The beds were comfortable!!! Pics did not accurately describe this location. No hot breakfast just snack bars and coffee. Many other better airport choices!

Not very well taken care of

Dirty room, hair on the bed and floor, terrible smell in the rooms, made my nose burn, people had animals in the room that stink and were loud barking

I was in town to celebrate my son’s birthday. I Booked my stay on Expedia. Upon arrival I was informed by the staff that the hotel was overbooked and they could not honor my stay. I was not offered assistance to find other accommodations. The staff didn’t even bother looking up my reservation. I was an inconvenience that interrupted her smoke break that she was taking directly in front of the main entrance of the hotel. I spent 15 years working in hotels in this area. I even worked at this exact hotel for several years. I know the policy is to “walk” guests to other hotels when overbooked. No assistance was offered forcing me to have to drive 1.5 hours home in the middle of the night.

Rooms were large and beds and pillows were very comfy Key cards to the inside didn’t work most the time, so you had to walk all the way around depending on where you parked. Side doors were being left propped open by people as a result which felt unsafe.

The elevator was missing parts. The floor in the room was dirty and felt sticky. The shower wasn’t cleaned. It also had a weird smell in the stair ways

From the moment I arrived, the cleanliness was unacceptable. The floors were filthy, the bed sheets appeared unwashed, and there were visible stains on the bedding. The bathroom was in terrible condition and did not appear to have been properly cleaned. The refrigerator in the room was warm and would not cool down, making it unusable for storing food or drinks. To make matters worse, I woke up with multiple bites around my ankles that appeared to be from bed bugs. This was extremely concerning and made for a very uncomfortable stay. The overall environment also felt unsafe. There were people outside smoking marijuana, yelling, and fighting late into the night. As a mother, I would never feel comfortable bringing my daughter into that type of environment. The only positive aspect of my stay was the gentleman at the front desk, who I believe may have been the manager. He was kind, professional, allowed me to check out early, and provided a partial refund for the issues I experienced. Unfortunately, his excellent customer service was not enough to make up for the condition of the property. I will not be staying here again and cannot recommend this location to others.

Not clean and very loud staff and guests

I wouldn’t stay here if this was the last hotel in world. I would rather sleep on a pebble. I had prepaid for my room weeks ahead of time, and they refused to give me my room and said they were over booked. There were 3 other people that they were going to screw over. The staff was crap, and the situation of this happening. How great of a hotel chain this is. It was wonderful since coming in from a different city and had to find a hotel not sold out at midnight. This was complete bull crap. This is the worst people i could deal, with and by far if anyone uses it check yourself before you do.

Nothing Very strong cigarette smell from all of the non smoking facilities.

staff is actually pretty nice, rooms however are not. sticky floors, stained carpets, toilets barely flush, missing door handles, microwave definitely was on fire at one point.. overall just disappointing :(

Not well maintained at all. Not “extended stay America” which I knew before. They didn’t have any utensils.
