Basic hotel. A bit dated and worn.

Staff was nice but room smelled like smoke even though it was a nonsmoking room.

Everything was great except the street noise on Sat night. Great location for getting to Gainbridge Fieldhouse.

Clean room comfortable bed and pillows. Staff was great, breakfast was good. Valet parking is expensive. Carpets in lobby need cleaning

Incredibly helpful staff from front desk to housekeeping to valet. It's an older downtown property so there are some cleanliness and maintenance issues - all minor - that come with an old urban core hotel. But great access to sports, restaurants, etc. And again, as of Aug. 2026, staff was amazing.

We enjoyed our stay at the Hampton Inn. Our room was comfortable, clean, and the hotel is in a great location. It is just one block's walk to the Gainbridge Fieldhouse. It was very convenient for attending the Indiana Fever game. In the morning, breakfast was good with a variety of offerings. We enjoyed our stay in downtown Indianapolis at the Hampton Inn Indianapolis Downtown.

Loved the location to the Fever game and convince of walking around downtown. Good price overall as well

Overall ok but room smelled like a sewer and toilet was literally broken causing that smell. Hopefully it gets fixed before anyone else stays in that room

The staff are all very nice and helpful. Hotel was very clean. Hotel was in walking distance to the basketball stadium.

Perfect location to walk to Gainbridge Fieldhouse for sports events. Hotel was clean and the staff was very nice and friendly. Use the Valet parking, it's pricey, but it'll save your sanity from driving around trying to find limited parking. I will stay there again.

Great place to stay if you’re going to a Fever or Pacers game!

Carpet in the lobby was rough. the room smell like cigarette smoke. The TV did not work for the first day. They sent a repair man that night before we got there to do something to it. He got it fixed, but after he left, it stopped working. We finally got a pic to next morning.

Angie was amazing as was all the staff. They made our stay for GenCon exceptional! They helped get a great room with my walker. Thank you!

maid service sporadic, made up bed 1 day, but not sofa bed, didn't make up beds at all next day, took towels away but didn't leave new ones, did seem to clean bathroom each day, though did leave big hairball one day overall hotel was OK, but for money expected better, location excellent
