A 15-minute walk from Innsbruck’s old town, the Heimgartl is located right by the Inn River. The Nordkettenbahn cable car can be reached in a 5-minute walk. Free Wi-Fi and free parking are provided. The Standard rooms are located on the back side of the house, the Premium rooms are on the front side of the building, offering views to the Inn river and the mountains.The property also offers accommodations in an apartment located a 3-minutes drive from the hotel. Every day, the property serves fresh breakfast with Tyrolean specialties, fresh bread rolls and homemade jams and cakes. This can be booked upon arrival. A bus stop with connections to the center is close by. A shuttle bus to the Swarovski Crystal Worlds stops a 5-minute walk away. Many hiking trails are nearby.

Hot summer day....no A/C in the hotel, so the room was hot! They provided a fan, which was somewhat helpful. Not the hotel's fault, as there's not A/C listed as an amenity, but keep this in mind if booking in the summer.

It was very close to transit stations and the staff were very nice. The room we stayed in was pretty tiny and the window opened up to a rock hill so we couldn’t see anything.

The view from the hotel room were amazing! You could see the river, city, and mountain from the bed. There was also a little waterfall outside the window. It was only a 10 minute walk to the city.

Closeness to the town, proximity to river walking path, quiet, safe, secure. Welcoming host. Couldn’t control the heat in the room, bathroom was very tight and no coffee/tea in the room.

The location is perfect for city exploring. Breakfast was delightful. They make eggs to order and have a lovely spread of cold cuts and pastries with homemade jams. For the value, the location is great - fun walk along the river to the old town. WiFi didn’t work in the evening. I imagine everyone was using it. Was great otherwise.

The views, and the people at reception eere absolutely friendly. We felt like home It’s a bit far away from the city centre, but we already knew that, and the walk till it is very enjoyable.

Great location and easy walk to the alt Stadt area. Room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast had several options and was well presented and tasty. Best of all the customer service was phenomenal by everyone we interacted with!

Nice breakfast, friendly staff, rustic old fashioned hotel with a small stream next to it. Very peaceful and quaint. Bit pricey for the size of the room and facilities. Takes 15 mins to get there from the central station. There is a bus stop nearby but the bus is not very frequent there.

Helpful hosts Good breakfast Thank you My husband is partially sighted.. we travel by train. The hotel has no footpaths on their side of the road. Which at times is very busy with Fast moving traffic. Making it quite difficult to cross. Car drivers would have no difficulty
