The staff were polite and welcoming. The first room we were given was covered in mould (behind the entirety of the dresser and wardrobe- discovered by accident...). When we informed the staff, nobody seemed surprised, and no one even came to inspect it. We were moved to another room, but it also had mould, although less. I have never stayed in such a poor room before. Charging £125 for accommodation that could potentially put guests' health at risk is completely irresponsible. I cannot recommend staying here at all.

Great location & comfortable bed The property is a bit run down

Very friendly staff, incredibly comfortable bed. Acceptable breakfast Covered in scaffolding on our visit. Access stairs very narrow and steep, no warning of this on advertising. Room in poor state of decoration, damp patches, flaking paint, badly finished skirtings etc. We were told at check in (Friday) that they’d probably stop serving food and drink about 8.30! Fortunately the surrounding pubs were all open until midnight and were good quality. Breakfast quite constricted both in time slots and offering. You get a fry up OR cereal! Expected better for the price.

The breakfast was amazing, very generous and delicious. We loved the close proximity to the beach which our little dog enjoyed. The rooms were very spacious but needed a little bit of tlc. .

Friendly staff, comfortable room, tea and coffee making facilities with biscuits and fresh fruit provided, good value for the money. Lovely full english breakfast that was served nice and hot. Our room was large with plenty of space for hanging clothes. Shampoo/conditioner, shower gel and hand soap provided. The room was old/tired but this was reflected in the value for money price.

Breakfast was lovely. Location is perfect- tucked away, but also a stones throw from the beach. The pub was quiet and we had a good nights sleep. The room is fairly dated and could do with redecoration. A fan or air conditioning over the summer months would make a longer stay more comfortable.
-
Room was a good size and shower was decent. The breakfast was excellent. Great location for instow. The stairs up to the top floor were very steep but manageable. It was a bit pricey for what it is.

Staff, especially breakfast server who was very sunny and professional; bottled water and fresh fruit in room. Frontage of premises was nothing like picture posted - scaffolded, down side street, not welcoming. Aspects of room not a good standard - peeling paint, dirty carpet, bedside light not working. WiFi in bedroom non existent. Room was expensive. Unusually, breakfast offering was either cereal or cooked.

Staff all absolutely brilliant, super friendly, helpful, excellent choices for breakfast. Treated our dog like a little princess. Our top floor room was a good size and reasonably comfortable, unfortunately no air conditioning which made for a rather uncomfortable first night due to the heat. Also…. think at some time they must have had a leaky roof and the paint on the ceiling was all peeling off. Just looked a bit shabby.

Very friendly staff, room was a good size, and great location

The breakfast was amazing The room was far too hot and there was damp and mould on the ceiling and walls

Excellent experience at the wayfarer, friendly team, nice big room, lovely breakfast
-
Bed was large and comfortable. Fruit and homemade shortbread provided. The pub was shut on Mondays. The bathroom was dingy - no natural light and insufficient artificial light. The pull cords were missing from the fan and the shaving light.so they were inoperable. There was no WiFi or mobile signal in the room (perhaps an already weak signal was defeated by the scaffolding outside).【

The food was excellent . We had dinner in the evening and breakfast, both were delicious

Staff very friendly and attentive. Roomy and light bedroom and bathroom. G Room was a little dated and unable to open window.
