Good hotel for solo business travelers

I will definitely stay here again. The price was cheaper than other places I had stayed at and this far exceeded those other places.

I showed the front desk employee my digital driver’s license as proof of identity, but he initially refused to accept it. After a lengthy conversation, he finally accepted it and helped me get back into the room. I understand the need to verify a guest’s identity, but I did not appreciate his attitude or the way the situation was handled. The experience was frustrating and could have been handled much more professionally and courteously.

Checking in was absolutly fine having pre-booked and paid online. The man on reception was very friendly and quick. The room was very spacious and clean. Some signs of wear and tear in the bathroom, but that is to be expected. The only part of the stay that was any issue was noisy guests at 1am returning to their rooms (even though the hotel tries to enforce a quiet time past 11pm), and the housekeepers shouting to each other outside our room at 8am and being generally loud, so anyone expecting a quiet lay-in may not get this past 8am. Other than that though, it was a very comfortable stay and would go back again.

The rooms are clean and a nice size. The front desk staff were amazing. Plenty of parking. The restaurant staff for breakfast and the lounge was amazing. Even the housekeeping staff was so friendly and attentive. I would definitely stay again.

I like the city that it’s in but I wouldn’t stay again The rooms the rug just felt outdated and and wet.

The room was okay, the bed made spring noises, the bathroom looked aged. Aircon was also aged, and made loads of noise.

The only issue is the gadget on the toilet. I’m not sure if it is a bidet or not. It was nosey for a long period of time then it cut off. Woke me out my sleep it was so loud. Other than that a good experience.
