We loved our stay. The rooms are right above a wonderful restaurant, Rolandi's, that is very atmospheric & would be great for a special occasion dinner. The staff were very kind and courteous, & let us check in early to store our luggage which was incredible because it allowed us to explore the island. The upper rooms encircle a lovely courtyard lit by string lights, and live music from the street wafts up pleasantly. Ours was accessed by a small staircase- for those with heavier luggage or mobility issues I would check with the hotel to make sure they have an elevator. The room was just right for us, it was a little stuffy on entering but we aired it out by opening the windows, then shut them and turned on the AC & it was great. The site is older & feels unique. The door had a keyed lock, not electronic, but the location feels secure. You are right on a historic, lively street where you can walk to many places of interest, including the beach. The accommodations were a little dated, for example the mattress was older & the safe was missing its lock mechanism. There was a little debris left in the room by the previous tenant, nothing too serious (press on nails on the window sill, tissues on the floor). Bottom line, it was an interesting, charming place to stay, with a fair rate considering the amazing location and proximity to Rolandi's, a good fit if you are looking for cozy originality rather than a luxurious cookie-cutter resort. A working safe in the room, a balcony that opened to the street. I possibly misunderstood the room description, as this property does advertise SOME rooms with balconies overlooking the exterior street. The description when I reserved the room listed 'balcony' in the amenities, but in reality only had exterior windows that opened a crack. The entrance door to our room was technically on the interior walkway encircling the interior courtyard, which could maybe be considered a balcony? We were initially disappointed because we had initially envisioned sitting and watching passers-by on the historic street below from our balcony, but in the end we were happy with our stay. I think this was more a communication breakdown with the third party website I booked through, as the hotel website has very specific room descriptions with accompanying photos- so book directly with the hotel!

Very dirty room, dust all around. Greasy furnitures, rusty cutleries , no water coming from kitchen tap. No pressure and not hot water in the shower. I really don’t suggest to book here. Very bad experience

Very little We stayed in a family room despite being only a couple because we wanted the extra room. I didn’t sleep at all due to the constant droning of machinery in the next door hotel. There were dishes stacked randomly in a draining rack and crumbling railings on a grubby balcony. It was tired and needed updating. The breakfast was very basic, some fruit and rolls. We left a day early and the hotel were unwilling to offer us a refund for the unused night. Very expensive mistake!

Good TV. Good air condition No hot water. Torn curtains. To expensive for the money

location - good beds - clean hot water not working - no balcony - stairs so not good if carrying a lot

Great TV with streaming services like Netflix and Apple TV. Dirty shower curtain with mold on it. The grout between the bathroom tiles had black spots, assuming mold.

Location was excellent. We had the family room which was a nice big size. Large bathroom and deck. There was a small kitchen so we were able to make our breakfast and sandwiches for lunch. The staff was very friendly especially housekeeping. Great air conditioning. A little noisy with the roof top t fan at night but it wasn’t a big problem for us as we enjoyed the evening entertainment near by nightly. Down side would have just been the lack of water in the kitchen so we did our dishes in the washroom. The lack of water in kitchen.
