Wild Dunes Resort – Residences at Sweetgrass

The staff is just as great as the venue

Our every need was met by a very friendly staff!

The residences at Sweetgrass were nice with all amenities one would desire. The pool was spot on if you are a young family with babies & toddlers. However, if you are in your 60’s and an empty nester, you might want to look elsewhere! The mandatory valet parking was expensive & not convenient at all! Especially when trying to make it to a wedding on time! The food in their village was like school food with a resort price. Not a fit for us , but young families might like it!

Room air conditioner not working. Had to give us a fan. Awful and if booking thru a booking place they tell you they can't do anything about the room charge cause you paid through them.

The spa was amazing!

The property charged $430 more than the cost Expedia quoted me when I made the reservation. This was to cover resort fees that were not disclosed when making the reservation.

The request for additional towels was not followed. We received multiple large drying towels and no hand towels. The room was clean and the location to the beach excellent.

Highly recommended! Apartment was so much more than expected (make sure to bring some cooking supplies (S&P, Oil, Etc) if you plan to cook. The property was beautiful and everything was convenient! We didn’t eat much on the property (it’s not inexpensive), but poolside snacks and drinks were great. Be aware there is $99 resort fee each night you stay. With all that said, if you are prepared for the above, it was a fantastic vacation & a beautiful spot! Highly recommended!

Great family suite. Understaffed, long lines for food/drinks, requests ignored ie feather allergy brought to attention at check in 4 hours later when room was ready all beds had feathers. AC broke in one room, had to call multiple times for the engineer to come out, blender non working requested a new one that never arrived.
