Walkable Very odd Oder in dining room. It made my daughter queasy and she couldn’t eat there.

Don’t have air conditioning and the room it’s hot
-
Location, cleanness, food Breakfast started at 7:300. Should start at 7:00 for people who have early tours. Couldn’t control room temperature, no A/C

The property is an easy walk into town The property has very thin walls and nearly everything going on in the neighboring rooms is audible. The public room is a bit awkward but the staff work hard to make things nice.

No wood for fire in fireplace. Very disappointing. Then no ice at bar for drinks. And then no cheese for a breakfast sandwich to go. Have been before sooo know how amazing it can be. Disappointing this trip

The location in Portree was convenient and the common areas looked nice. The room was acceptable for one night and check in was straightforward. The bathroom was disappointing. The toilet hardly flushed, and the shower hose was broken and leaking, which made it feel low quality and poorly maintained. There were also stains on the bed sheets, which is not acceptable. Breakfast was mediocre, and when I joined my friends at the table I was not even offered coffee, which felt inattentive and unwelcoming.

Room was well appointed, bathroom was in good state with excellent shower and water pressure. Breakfast was delicious and timely. Parking was easy and close. Our dinner reservation was somehow overlooked, but the staff were very apologetic about this and went out of their way to leave us a surprise gift of champagne in the room and an apology note. The beds were a tad bit hard, but overall our stay was very satisfactory and easy.

Staff super helpful and friendly. Cute quiet place, with cozy decor! Delicious breakfast!

The room was spacious and nice. The location is very close to the town and restaurants. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately there was a problem w/the gas and heating when we arrived.

The Skye Inn was an absolutely wonderful hotel that comfortably accommodated our group of nine and provided peaceful, quiet sleeping conditions for several nights. The rooms and bathrooms were spotless, clean, and well lit, which made the stay even more comfortable. The staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive, and they truly went above and beyond to make sure we had an exceptional experience. They seamlessly handled multiple roles throughout the hotel and made us feel genuinely cared for. Breakfast was a highlight — it was made to order from a menu rather than a typical continental breakfast, with fantastic options to choose from. A particularly thoughtful touch was seeing a sign on a large table welcoming our group for breakfast the next morning. We would highly recommend the Skye Inn and would happily stay there again! Nothing, the location was great and a short walk to other restaurants.

Good location. Clean and comfortable. Lovely staff

Quiet, but easy walk to centre of town Heating wasn’t working, got a portable heater after complaining. Bathroom still cold and had a musty smell
-
The floors are creaky and the walls are thin, but it’s an older hotel, so it’s charming.

The staff were all very nice. Breakfast & dinner were very good This is a 3 star hotel, at best. One has to drive on a very deep potholed road , past trash, dumpsters, junk cars to access property. We were very reluctant to stay there.

We were informed breakfast would be until 9:30 AM, we arrived 9:10 and they said was closed. Poor customer experience. We left without eating anything. Great location and wonderful staff. Comfortable stay.
-
The road to the hotel was a bit narrow. Staff did not appear to stay late so if need anything that was not emergency, had to catch them early. The room was slightly small for two people with two luggage cases.
-
The room was clean and cozy. I loved the breakfast. The hotel was close to the main hub of Portree. The little tin of buttery soft cookies (American word for it) was a special touch.

Great location and locally made soap.

We couldn’t take a shower and nobody answered
