The location is perfect. The staff were very helpful on check in. They gave us a very early check in free of charge they also offered us to have breakfast on the day of check in because we arrived in the morning. First night, there was no hot water in the shower. But they fixed it the following day. However the biggest problem was the air conditioner. We had to shut all the windows at night because it was very noisy outside. But when we did so, the room became hot. So we tried to turn on the air conditioner but were told that the system is still on heating only. And they can’t change it to cooling yet. So we had to choose between sleeping in the heat or with the noise :)

The location was fantastic, and the room was large and clean. I got a room on the 5th floor, not facing the street, so it was very quiet; I did not have issues with sleeping. The bathroom was also well-equipped and clean. The hotel is in a relatively quiet small street, which is important in Istanbul if you want to avoid the noise. Some pieces of furniture are a bit worn; they may need replacement or repair. The TV in my hotel room did not work properly, so I asked the receptionist to fix it. He promised that the technician would come to my room in a few minutes, but they never arrived (although it was not a big issue to me). One night, I wanted to have a shower around 2 pm, but there was no hot water. It was probably a one-time issue, because the next morning everything worked fine. I expected a bit better breakfast, more international, but it was okay, I could eat enough.

Helpful and friendly staff Breakfast was always the same food with no variety which didn't look fresh. But the staff was very helpful and friendly. Card key failed and didn't work a couple of times but staff were able to solve it immediately.

The reception was very helpful during our stay. The breakfast was superb in terms of variety, quality and quantity. the kitchen staff was very polite and friendly, they even helped us with our toddler for couple if minutes during breakfast so we can eat some bites in peace. The cleaning services were more than perfect. The location is 30 seconds away from istiklal street and like 3 mins away from Taksim square, just perfect. It’s not a thing I don’t like, but could be an improvement if you used bottles of water instead of the filled cups.

I love the hotel ???? Nothing

The hotel is near Takism Meydani and the metro station, it’s clean and great staff No amenities in the room and very bad breakfast. No food variety and all food is cheese based and bad. It is my 3rd stay in this hotel and it is my worst. I don’t know if my 4th stay will be at this hotel

Best thing about the hotel must be the excellent breakfast with its vast spread of delicious Turkish breakfast foods. 10/10. Just don't expect an international hotel breakfast experience and enjoy the opportunity to breakfast like a local. Being in a side street just off Istiklal means you are in the action, but the room is quiet. My room was on the first floor and looked out onto the courtyard of the coffee shop next door, so no great views, but the room was spacious and clean with a comfy bed, a kettle with selection of teas and instant coffee and ample drinking water, iron and ironing board, and loads of storage space. The hotel is very well located, close to Istiklal Street, with access to metro line 2, the funicular to Karaköy, and the funicular to Kabatas and tramline T1 that goes to Sultanahmet all a few minutes walk away. The airport bus is also walking distance away, but do not trust Google Maps to get you to the right place. The Havaist stop is actually in a side street opposite Gezi Park, and not on the Gezi park side of the road as Google would like you to believe. I have no complaints, except using the safe installed on the bottom of the closet was a bit of a challenge for my creaky knees.

The stay was absolutely wonderful! The hotel exceeded all my expectations. A perfect blend of comfort and luxury – I would highly recommend this place. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home. Exceptional service! Everyone went out of their way to ensure we had a great stay The breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of options to choose and really beautiful wall pictures of most of the Turkish celebrities who visited their restaurant was awesome.
