It was a good place to stay for your work travel

-Room service is great and overall hotel services are exceptional -The staff are very very helpful and friendly, especially the Guest service staff Muhammed and Emre. -Breakfast could be better (fresh-made omlet isn’t included with the breakfast you should pay separately) - Location is a bit far away from central area (best choice is to rent a vehicle)

The hotel was exceptionally clean, the room was spacious and comfortable, and the bed was very comfortable. The staff were professional, friendly, and always willing to help from check-in until check-out. Every request was handled promptly with a warm smile. The location is convenient, and the facilities are excellent, especially the gym. I felt comfortable throughout my stay, and the level of service exceeded my expectations. My sincere thanks to the entire team for their wonderful hospitality. I will definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit to Istanbul and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 10/10

Only the location where I need to be around - the service - housekeeping - decor - cleanliness

The staff were nice and helpful. The rooms were quite spacious, the beds were comfy, and the view was great. I felt safe there. The AC worked perfectly. They don’t have mugs in the room. We booked for two people, but they only provided teabags and toiletries for one person. The floors were dirty. If you value quiet places and peace, keep in mind that it’s very noisy outside 24/7 due to the highways.

Our stay was comfortable, and the reception staff were friendly especially Recef, Musa and Bûşra. We asked to be placed at a higher floor and the accommodated us into the 9th floor. Some of the breakfast items weren’t fresh and the tables were unclean and utensils were missing.

My stay at Westside by Rotana was excellent from start to finish. The hotel was comfortable, reasonably priced, and offered great value overall. The breakfast was delicious, and even late at night the food quality was impressive — I ordered the fettuccine Alfredo along with a chocolate soufflé and vanilla ice cream around 2 a.m., and everything tasted fresh and amazing. The hotel has all the necessary amenities, and my room came with a beautiful view that made it easy to relax and get proper rest. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay, and housekeeping consistently kept the room clean and well-stocked with fresh towels and linens. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, especially for the price. Definitely a 10/10 stay. I only have a few minor suggestions that could really take this property to the next level. One personal pet peeve of mine — and I’ve noticed this in several places around Istanbul — is seeing fingerprints on glass, mirrors, or chrome surfaces. I understand this may sound a bit picky, but spotless surfaces make a big difference in the overall presentation and guest experience. Another improvement would be adding a self-service laundry room. Paying extremely high prices for basic laundry service, especially for just a few clothing items, can be inconvenient for longer stays. Having an affordable guest laundry option would be a huge plus and much more practical for travelers. Lastly, I’d recommend updating and reorganizing the gym equipment. The current machine placement makes workouts feel cramped, and the limited availability of heavier weight plates can make strength training difficult. Improving the gym setup would definitely enhance the overall experience for fitness-focused guests.

The view is so beautiful

The room was nice, the staff was welcoming, and the environment was very friendly. I have been staying in this hotel every once in a while for the last six years, and every time I go there, they surprise me. If it is possible to manage the distribution of guests based on whether they have kids with them, since when you are tired, while having a family with kids next door, it may cause some disturbance. Also, the food at the room service needs to be cooked more deliciously, a better room service chef may solve the problem.

This is the first time I’ve ever written a negative review about a hotel. On the first day, when we entered the room, there was an unpleasant smell, especially coming from the bathroom. Despite specifically noting on Booking that I wanted twin beds, the toiletries were provided for only one person. The shampoo and body gel were of very poor quality and had a bad smell. There were no body towels in the room at all. Although tea and coffee sachets were provided, there was no electric kettle to boil water. The internet was not working on the first day. In short, this is the first time I chose this hotel, and it will most likely be the last. I do not recommend it at all.

The hotel is good as a 4-star property, but on Booking it is listed as a 5-star hotel. I believe it may have been a 5-star hotel in the past, but currently it definitely needs renovation to meet that standard again. The most positive aspect of the stay was the staff, who were very friendly and helpful, especially Jila. Overall, the hotel has potential, but several areas need improvement to truly match a 5-star level. The hotel would benefit from at least some light refurbishment, as it feels a bit dated in places. There is a mall nearby, but due to the location you need to take a taxi to reach it. There is also very little within walking distance, so dining options are limited mainly to the hotel itself.

I have stayed in different Rotana before this was the stay I have ever experienced. A Guy from Reception called Mert did a lot for me and my family he was really nice and also Umut from reception was really kind to thanks them for their attitude.

The hotel and staff is great. Very relaxing and well maintained hotel. I felt like an appreciated guest and the customer relationship manager was great and very hands-on. The location is good close to the highway, but it can get very busy with traffic jams in the afternoon. The closet shop is about 20 minutes walking.

We were very satisfied with the front desk service and amenities, with a special thank to Mr Ahmed. My only note for improvement would be with housekeeping, as our room needed a more thorough cleaning.
