Good location, comfortable stay and great price.

The location. Very tiry to walk down and up specially when you have luggage

It’s a small cozy hotel. We booked budget double room but later upgraded to a more spacious one which was like a studio apartment. It was very clean and peaceful. We loved our stay of four nights here. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Perhaps, the part of the walk (5 mins) from hotel towards Sultan Ahmet Square is on a hilly street so if you are with elderly people, that’s something to consider. Other than that, all good.

Best value for money

The location within the historic center is very convenient to get around many of the main attractions. It is in a hilly and uneven area, so it will not be very convenient for people with movement impairments or older people. The bathroom did smell a bit, but it wasn’t very annoying and it didn’t extend in to the room, so it was only a minor issue.

If you're looking for a simple hotel, this is okay. On my first night, the room was dirty and smelly. Then, they transferred me to another one. I complained about the Wi-Fi several times, but nothing could be done according to the staff. So, if you want a place near the city center, just go there to sleep, I think it's okay. What I did not know about Istanbul is that it is very hilly and walking up and down cobblestone streets was leg numbing and my knees didn't handle them well. Our hotel was on a straight street, but where we needed to go was up hill at the end of the street. Hotel staff were excellent and provided everything we asked for including getting the TV to work or ordering a taxi. Unfortunately the TV was not a smart tv and we could not stream YouTube, Netflix, Prime, etc. I will have to ask that on next booking. Breakfast was uniquely fabulous and was in a restaurant directly across the street. Everyone we met in Istanbul was quite friendly and conversational. Fellow guests talked with us about their itineraries and past/future travels. We enjoyed the whole experience, except for walking up and down steep hills.(which is not the hotels' fault). We would definitely return to this hotel. Also our room had a sitting area and large closets with couch and chairs. There was only one thing I did not like and that was not having a smart TV that could stream channels that could be heard in our language. Everything from the TV was Turkish. Although, I did not come to Istanbul to watch TV, it just would have been nice to get updates on the Iran war and other news.

Very good location, polite staff, quick check-in and check-out. The payment was in EUR. The air conditioning room was small, but clean and cozy. It has a TV, a small refrigerator, and a kettle. The view from the window was nice. The bed and the pillows were comfortable. The bathroom was big and had everything you might need — a hairdryer, shampoo, and shower gel. The only negative thing was that we didn’t have Internet during our stay because of the service provider. When we checked in, the hairdryer was broken, although it was repaired the same day upon our request.

We had a pleasant stay at Hotel Constantinopolis. The property is clean, the beds are very comfortable, and overall it offers excellent value for money. The hotel breakfast is served across the narrow street at Barbarossa Restaurant, where the food and service are excellent — I highly recommend including this option, Onur and the staff are very welcoming and made our time enjoyable. The location is convenient for visiting major attractions, though it is quite far from both airports, so travel time should be considered. The television in our room was not working, but this was only a minor inconvenience. Guests should also be prepared for a fair amount of walking, as several points of interest require some distance to reach. The staff who welcomed us upon our late evening arrival were very friendly and helpful. However, our experience with the morning staff was less pleasant, which slightly affected the overall impression.

I liked that the hotel was in a quiet place and in turistic area. The room had no windows. Also was very, very, very small. You could hear the elevator when it moved. You could hear everybody on the floor speaking. All the doors were making so much noise you could hear everyone on the floor using them They charged 1/3 of the payment a few days before my arrival, but on the booking reservation said I'll pay at the property.
