The hotel is located really close to Taksim square but in the quiet street. The man at the reception (which is, btw, in the building next to the hotel) was very pleasant and helped me with my suitcase as my room was in the basement and there is no elevator in the building (a fact I completely forgot to check when booking). There is no sound sound insulation in the rooms at all. Around 2 am I woke up because of the noise guest in the room above mine were making. They were just talking loudly and moving furniture and I could hear all that as if it was happening in my own room. Eventually I had to knock on their door and ask them to be a bit quiet since sound insualtion in this hotel practically does not exist. The whole point of staying in this hotel was to get some rest before hitting the road again and thanks to this unpleasant discovery I barely slept at all( Another thing that upset me was a hair I found in the cheese plate at breakfast(

New, very clean hotel. Non-smoking room (this is rare) Convenient location - 3 minutes walk to Taksim. Very comfortable mattress and pillows, fresh and nice linen and towels. There is a small but full breakfast and very attentive and pleasant staff You can hear your neighbors very well. Whether it's footsteps on the stairs or furniture being rearranged in the middle of the night. But this is the center of Istanbul - it's like that here.

Good location, clean rooms Breakfast was rather disappointing, small selection and few seatings. Had to share table with some strangers. The food was also a bit dry. Poor sound isolation, construction early in the morning. Very polite and nice guy at the reception but it can be a little challenging as he doesn’t speak English.

Some of the rooms are not access by the elevator, its a walkup by a steep stairs. The location is not close to the shopping street and the lane is dodgy at night

Location of the hotel is amazing. Rooms are clean and nice, have all needed things. The staff are highly responsive and helpfull. Breakfast is nice, but if you stay more then few days, it could have more options for different days :)

It is quite close to Taxim square. Silence surroundings, clean streets. The room is small, but conformable. We had very bad weather conditions, with cold and rain. The heating was under estimated. The breakfast is good, but standard the same for 7 days.

Staff is really helpful and easy to communicate with. Price is cheap compared to other hotels in the area considering with free breakfast. A lot of things to go around the area. The washroom water heater can be improved as it takes time for the water to heat up.

The hotel was small but very comfortable. You felt very well taken care of. No hustle and bustle. The staff were great and extremely kind.
