The location is excellent if you have a car. If not, it’s about a 15-minute drive to Taksim or Galata Port, with a taxi costing around $10–15. We stayed in the Suite with Terrace. The room was beautifully designed and spacious, although it could have been cleaner. The staff were outstanding. Mostly young professionals, they consistently went above and beyond to make guests feel welcome. A special mention goes to Daniel, who was exceptionally service-oriented. Despite his young age, he provided a level of service you would expect from a luxury five-star hotel. On the downside, we were disappointed with the food. Turkish breakfasts are usually generous and full of variety, but this one was very poor. There was almost no cheese selection, very few vegetables, and what was available wasn’t of great quality. Most of the remaining options were deep-fried or sweet pastries. Another inconvenience was that you couldn’t order a cappuccino during lunch because the coffee machine was switched off after breakfast. There was no coffee machine in the room, even we had the highest room category The rooftop restaurant was unfortunately very disappointing, and the Summer breakfast Terrace looked tired, poorly maintained, and wasn’t particularly clean. Overall, the hotel has great potential thanks to its wonderful staff, but the food quality, cleanliness, and dining facilities need and improvement

We liked the design and size of the rooms. The breakfast was also good. The location of the hotel and the fact that it was very noisy. The windows could not be completely closed and you could hear noise from the outside.

The deluxe double room was nice and clean with nice furniture, and easy access The location is refreshing, calm and infront of the lake, The service wasn’t that good , when we first arrived there wasn’t anyone in the reception, and no one to help with the luggage, the house keeping lasy wasn’t doing anything, she didn’t even change the dirty towels, actually she left us with only one shower towel! We asked for the iron twice but never got it! The reseptionist was the only professional one in the hotel but I guess one is not enough

The location of the hotel was near the conference center so it was convenient. The staff were helpful and friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was good and is a good Turkish experience. A few restaurants are close by, a convenience store and also a small pharmacy. The cleaners forgot to replace coffee stirrers.

The furniture

I really appreciated how everything smells old — from the furniture to the mattresses and basically everything in the room. It gives you that authentic “time travel” experience. I also enjoyed the prominent noise that keeps you awake and feeling very much alive throughout the night. The hotel is very old and completely outdated for today’s standards. There’s a lot of hidden dirt everywhere. The bed sheets and mattresses are extremely old and worn out. The furniture is scratched, outdated, and every door or window creaks loudly. The carpet and bathroom were very dirty, with a smell you won’t forget. In the morning, there was no hot water. The staff seemed superficial and uninterested. The balconies were literally filthy and completely filled with oversized armchairs that didn’t even fit the space. The towels were unusable due to their smell and condition. The pillows were very uncomfortable. Overall, a very bad experience. The only things that looked decent were the hallways, which were clean and equipped with air fresheners to mask the unpleasant smells. I would not recommend this hotel even with a very large discount. By far the worst experience I’ve had in Turkey.

Good breakfast, spacious and beautiful room, great shower, very comfortable king size bed Location was really way too far to enjoy Istanbul properly, street noise was minimal but noticeable, very noisy guests unfortunately who didn't respect sleeping hours and were slamming doors at all hours, very loud housekeeping closet with the washer/dryer running at all hours made for an unpleasant stay, room lighting could have been more functional

It is a great location and maybe the best money/value property in Istanbul, nevertheless the location is not near the city center and you will loose a lot of time and money for taxis. I can only recommend it to business travelers or people arriving by car who want to drive to the city center.

I liked the room décor .it was spacious and well decorated. The staff were willing to help, and I enjoyed staying in the room. There was no hot water I could not have a shower and I complained twice. Eventually, they said it was a pipe problem!! The location is good for walking along the shore, but really bad if you want to be close to the city center and the hub.
