The Best City Kadikoy

Good value for money in a great location - close to the ferry terminals, metro, restaurants and just over 1 km from the high speed train station. It was a very quiet street and the 'call to prayer' was not too loud. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. There was a refrigerator in our room but it did not work.

Excellent room, large, clean, outstanding hosts. Perfect little stay close to the buses and ferries. Thank you! Couldn’t find a regular larger grocery store!

The location is great. It is a small bedroom with almost no clothing storage. So important to go in with eyes open.

Power cable of the electric kettle was very short.

Can’t beat the location of the Best City. Very close to the ferry and main bus station in Kadikoy. The bed was comfortable, the staff were very friendly and accommodating. I wish the AC had worked in the room, the fan was adequate, but the room was very warm if I closed the window. That was the only thing I would have changed.

I arrived on the 13th of March, the night receptionist is the best guy- sorry I forgot his name !! I paid for a late check out and all was good. Great Hotel for its Category as 2 star Hotel Perfect for 1 or 2 nights ! I was going to give it 10 but sadly, the owner, his son and Ahmet the receptionist took advantage of me in the month of Ramazan :( I was late for my flight as I lost my Istanbul Metro Card and I was late for my flight to Bahrain to see my Mother who is really ill and is in Hospital ! I asked for help from Ahmet in the reception to book me a taxi- he booked me the owners Taxi which was driven by his Son”Furkan” They Told me that it is 2000 Turkish Lira from Kadikoy to Sabiha Airport !! Am not angry as I had to agree to 2000 because I was desperate - am more angry that Furkan charged me extra taxes above what we agreed on even though he took the same time as other uber taxis to the airport! Other taxis charge between 1300 to 1500 Lira. Shame on you guys !! I will never forgive you for taking advantage of me in my difficult circumstances in the month of Ramazan. Money is not everything !! You should support and genuinely help those who choose your Hotel out of many other Hotels Not cheat them !!!

Location is amazing. Close to everywhere, was clean, stuff was friendly and helpful.

The personal was very nice and they have allowed me to check out later because I had to wait for the next flight Sound isolation was poor

We arrived in February, it was an amazing experience The rooms are equipped with all necessities including heat and air conditioning The staff is very polite and hospitable The only problem was with the shower: the water pressure was weak, the water was warm, but not hot

Im a detail guy and these guys really thought about all the details (e.g. hygienic) Very friendly staff. Nice spacy rooms. No other facilities in the hotel

Location is perfect, the place was clean I would change the bed covers from polyester to cotton one, if someone has sensitive skin or any allergies this can be problematic.

I stayed twice at this place and both times had a good experience. The staff is really nice and kind. They go above and beyond to help in anything they can. I will for sure come back again.

Everything was good. Comfortable and clean. Friendly staff. One day I will go back. I recommend to everyone who wants to live in wonderful Kadiköy.

Great place to stay in the centre of Kadıköy! The bed was comfortable and the staff was friendly. I fully recommend this hotel for a short stay.

Nothing much at all. Just about a deceitful misrepresentation from start to finish. Tried to stick me in a room 1/6the the size of the advertised. There was literally not even enough space on the floor next to the bed to put my suitcase down. The room was ~2 metres (6.5 feet) by 2.25 metres (7.5 feet) and 85% of the floor space was occupied by the bed. smaller than I imagine a prion cell. There was no table, no chair, or any other furniture. There was a bed and a a tiny cupboard space in the wall that was just big enough to accommodate the microwave and a coffee maker. The hairdryer was wired directly into the back of the wall socket, and the wall ocket was literally hanging out of the wall. I asked for an immediate checkout at which point they hurriedly offered me a room that was about 20% bigger than the first one, just big enough to actually be able to put my case down on the floor and have a chair jammed between the bed and the wall, and a makeshift pedestal to use as a desk which I needed for work purposes. Of the 19 days that I was stuck in this horrific situation the internet worked for about a total of 3 hours (not contiguous), or about 1% of the time and even then kept dropping connection. This meant that I had to pay about $120 extra for bandwidth top-ups on the esim to be able to function even minimally. The fridge which I had specifically asked about did not work and they were unable to fix it. When I asked for a replacement fridge their only suggested action was to offer to rent me a new one for an extra 5 Euros a day. Near the end of the stay, there was almost a full day without running water. The people who run the place are not professional hospitality staff. This all struck me as being run, possibly by a family, who needed to change income streams and bought a building to convert into a hotel and cluelessly tried to run it themselves. (This place was much more chaotic and laughable than Fawlty Towers). Avoid unless you are desperate and don't need to stay longer than overnight on a layover.

THE BEST! Staff were amazing, specially Şahin, made me feel very welcomed, supported me with alot of questions and requests, he even upgraded my room. He was such a decent person. The hotel is so close to public transportion, so close to restaurants, seaside and shopping areas. Location was the best The facility is so clean, rooms are so good and comfortable. It was so safe. Under the hotel was my favorite lahmajun place, must try! Thank you Best City Kadikoy staff and I’ll be back soon. Nothing. Everything was perfect

Despite a couple of the night staff members being very friendly, the hotel manager was extremely rude. He laughed at us when we were having trouble finding our booking information and trying to access through their terrible wifi. The entire hotel smells like cigarettes! If you turn on the AC is draws even more smoke into the room! You can not escape the toxic smell. It was like pulling teeth trying to get the hotel staff to replace essentials like toilet paper and towels not to mention there is no shampoo, conditioner, body wash, or lotion provided! The only soap in the room Is from a hand dispenser. Wifi hardly worked.
