Enjoyed our stay here! Rooms are clean and spacious, staff is very friendly and welcoming. Felt like home! Location of the hotel is very convenient, close to main touristic places and public transport stations (both trains and bus). Highly recommend booking this hotel!

I loved everything Nothing

The location is good, the facilities, not so much. If it weren’t for kind concierge (Mustapha), who did his best to help, and the kind cleaning lady, I would have left the hotel and given an even lower score. The windows are a joke - when you open them, you’re just facing a wall. But the worst part is the smell coming from the bathroom; it’s unbearable. If it weren’t for the kind staff who changed my room because of it, I would have switched hotels and given an even lower rating.

Very good hotel and great staff. I recommend you this hotel. I stayed in this hotel 3 nights, I really liked it. People there are very polite and kindhearted and warm. Especially receptionist brother MUSTAFA and Chef Narzgisa sister. They both helped me a lot. And guy whose name is Jemal also. Great team and great location. Thank you very much Grand Balyan hotel team.

The Staff were very helpful and kind specially Sophia. The rooms could've been more spacious and with some sort of noise canceling.

All the staff members from from desk to kitchen staffs, all where at there best to help you. Good breakfast in morning. Nothing to dislike. Just a basic hotel

Excellent location, wonderful views from the restaurant and upper rooms. The breakfast is also good. The biggest plus is the staff - Sofia is very helpful and great personality to chat with and also helps with recommendations or requesting a metered taxi that charges correct fares. The hotel is at walking distance from most major attractions in Istanbul, located directly on a food street. The hotel rooms should be more cleaner. There was hair on both the room floor and in the bathroom when I arrived. Should be cleaned more carefully.

I lived in Grand Balyan Hotel for 3 nights. Location was excellent, just a little steep walk towards Grand Bazaar. Staff especially Madam Sofia was great Guide and Host. Breakfast was also very good. We feel at home
