When we booked this hotel, I couldn't find a single negative review, so we were very surprised by our experience. The first thing you should know is that the hotel is located on a steep hill. Every day, if you want to get to the metro or any nearby attractions, you'll have to walk uphill on your way back. It may not be a problem for everyone, but it's definitely something to be aware of. When we arrived, nobody greeted us or offered to help with our luggage. We had to carry our suitcases ourselves. At the reception, the receptionist was on the phone and completely ignored us until she finished her conversation. Only then did she greet us. Since her English was quite limited, communication was difficult. We decided to have breakfast first. Unfortunately, the breakfast was very disappointing. We've stayed in other hotels with the same price range and star rating, and the breakfast there was much better. There were never any freshly cooked eggs—only boiled eggs, tomatoes, cucumbers, cheese, cold cuts, and the coffee was not good. The terrace also looked much nicer in the photos. In reality, you're sitting directly opposite another residential building where people live. It felt enclosed and far from the relaxing atmosphere shown in the pictures. After breakfast, we returned to reception. Before our arrival, I had contacted the hotel management and specifically requested a room with two separate beds. They confirmed my request, so we assumed everything was arranged. However, upon arrival we were told that no such room was available. The receptionist offered us one large bed instead, which we politely refused because that wasn't what we had booked. The manager simply apologized and said there were no other rooms available. They promised to move us to another room the next day. As a result, my friend had to spend the first night sleeping on what they called an "extra bed.

Location was close to tram, train and Galata tower. I do not know how the reviews are so good. This hotel fails in many areas. 1. No hot water when arrived. Took 3 hours to get corrected. Took shower and the water only slowly came out of the shower head. 2. The air conditioner does not work. Told reception and they said that they made it colder. Air conditioner never came on. Found out the next day that although they were hot days (May) they had the entire hotel for heat. 3. Guest were loud, slamming doors and yelling at each other. (Nothing was done) 4. No water in the refrigerator 5. 3 hangers total. 6. Windows, some were not latched and very hard to latch. 7. Bad for a ground floor room. Moved to a different room on a higher floor (slightly better). 8. Water comes out of the shower head on the second floor even slower than the first room and very slow to drain. 9. Bathroom door will not stay open with out the trash can put against it. 10. One of the windows does not lock at all. 11. Outside noise level is about an 8 at night like a 24 hour party. 12. Pillows in second room were super firm. Asked for more but was told that they did not have any extra until the next day. 13. Not enough toilet paper 14. No coffee available on the first day 15. Baggage storage?? They put you baggage in an unlocked stairs area. 16. Elevator got stuck with me in it for 7 to 10 minutes

New equipments, friendly staff, close to center, clean hotel

Very irresponsible, terrible hotel.

Good hotel in a great location, close to metro station and walking distance to some city sights. There are a lot of small stores, cafes, restaurants around. The hotel is new, the room was quite small but enough for our stay. Comfortable bed, everyday cleaning, good state of the bathroom. Despite the hotel being in the busy area, it was quite in our room. The receptionist was helpful, but didn’t understand English very well so it was a bit challenging to communicate some issues . Breakfast was good but could be more varied. Overall, good experience, we would come back there. weak water pressure in the shower

The cleanser

So far, this is the best place in Istanbul where we have stayed. the room and the entire hotel were very clean, the location was convenient and importantly it was very quiet in the hotel and you could relax at night. Special thanks to the man who cooked our breakfast, it was incredibly delicious and sincere. Also, many thanks to the hotel manager - Zafar bey. He always prompted us and provided the best service.

The staff were helpful, and the room was clean and well maintained. The location is convenient, being close to the metro station; however, the alley leading to the property has a rather steep slope. The room was located on the top floor, where the elevator’s electrical cabin is also situated. Unfortunately, it was quite noisy and very disruptive, especially in the early morning when the staff began using the elevator.

Cleanliness Location Staff Breakfast

We had a great time. The staff was very helpful and friendly, and the room was clean. Even if we missed something (e.g. hangers for clothes) they provided right away as we asked. As for the breakfast, we could choose from a wide variety of dishes, local specialties included as well. There is a bus station very close to the hotel, so reaching the further attractions was not a problem.They helped with the airport transfer too, this way we payed a fixed price for the taxi, and we did not have to worry about scams.

The location of the hotel is very good, with easy access to buses, Taksim Square, the Netherlands Embassy, supermarkets, restaurants, and many other places. The room was very clean, and housekeeping checked the room every day. If I needed anything, they provided water and coffee daily. When I asked for a table in my room, they provided the best chair and desk they had in the building, which shows their full respect for customers and attention to comfort. The staff are extremely kind, respectful, and supportive. The receptionist, Mr. Zafer, is the kindest and most supportive receptionist I have ever seen. On my first day, when I arrived early, he kindly invited me to breakfast and helped guide me with whatever I needed in the city. The breakfast was very fresh and delicious, with a great variety of cheeses, honey, tomatoes, cucumbers, tea, coffee, eggs, sweet jams with butter, and more. Everything tasted very good. When I asked for hot milk, they provided it and suggested adding honey, which made it even more delicious. Overall, the service was excellent, and the staff made my stay very comfortable and pleasant. Hope to see you again, Zafer. Thank you for making my stay wonderful.

The staff were Very friendly and respectful. The facilities are good. The habitations were clean. It was a bit noisy.

Little breakfast options

The hotel location is excellent - easy walk to Galata Tower and the PERA shopping, restaurant, coffee bar district and the hotel itself is charming…great staff and also a good breakfast made for a really enjoyable stay. Rooms are quite small, but comfortable and with modern bathroom and plenty of hot water.
