The Faith district has a lot of potential for growth but the surrounding merchants in the bazaars have aggressive business practices.

This was my second time staying at Artafes Hotel. The stay was very enjoyable, as I;ve rated above. Clean room, great staff, great breakfast (more varied than the last time), all items were delicious and fruits & vegetables were fresh. The staff was particularly awesome and I want to personally thank Bekir, Ozgur and Ilker for their kindndess, professionalism and eagerness to help. The free WiFi provided by the hotel was also great. Very stable and very fast allowing me to work online (handling large files in the cloud) with no interruptions or slowdowns. When we return to Istanbul, Artafes will be the one an only choice for us!

Çox razı qaldıq. 5 gün boyunca buranı seçdiyimizə görə qəti peşmançılıq keçirmədik. Səhər yeməyi həm çeşid, həm keyfiyyət baxımından yaxşı idi. Yerləşdiyi məkan superdi. Hotel əməkdaşları çox mehribandı, yardımçı olmaqdan zövq alırdılar sanki.

The hotel is in an excellent location. It is about a five-minute walk to Sultanahmet Square. It is a much quieter neighborhood than Sultanahmet Square, but you can still find some very nice restaurants just across the street or on the same block as the hotel. The staff is very welcoming and helpful. Ozgllr, working at Frondesk, kindly guided us through our early check-in because we traveled through an eight-hour night bus and arrived at the hotel very early in the morning. He was very patient in explaining the whole process to us. He even offered us a free breakfast in the hotel. The room that we booked is the only family room with a balcony and ocean view in the hotel. It is a little outdated, but very comfy for the price. The room is a good size for three people. The balcony and ocean view are a plus. The beds are comfortable. The bathroom is well-maintained and spacious enough. I will highly recommend this hotel.

Reception gentleman is very friendly , breakfast was good however expected a more traditional Turkish breakfast, location is ok, broken shower in the bathroom, a bit far from main transport

Friendly and helpful staff at reception. Overall hotel room was clean and functional. Breakfast offered a variety of items. Room was small (most hotel in this area have small rooms), not enough storage space (we had to leave most of our clothing in the suitcases). Despite having a wide choice the breakfast had limited items that we actually liked. Next time we would not come to Sultanahmet again as all restaurants and shops in this area are massively overpriced.

Well situated in central old city. The owner of the hotel was extremely rude ! The breakfast was very poor quality.

The location is very central close to the best touristic attractions. Breakfast was very abundant with local food: lost of cooked vegetables, cheese and homemade flans and cakes. I and my wife liked it a lot. The younger kids no so much, the would have liked a more standard (and boring in my opinion) breakfast as you find in most hotel around the world. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful. Internet was ok. Maybe they could had yogurt to the breakfast and few more option for picky people as some of my kids even if I thinks that when traveling one should try and eat something different from what eaten at home. Internet connection could be improved, but it was more than sufficient.
