He did everything he could to make our stay as comfortable as possible, and we truly appreciated his efforts. The location of the hotel is excellent and perfect for exploring the city. The staff were always kind, welcoming, and helpful, and they deserve recognition for their excellent service. Everything is clean and tidy. The bathrooms have been refurbished and clean. As far as cleanliness is concerned, everything is great. The breakfast is also excellent. A large selection of salty and sweet, fruit as well as a large selection of beverages: tea, coffee, juices, milk. Unfortunately, the hotel itself is old and it need of renovation. Many things in the rooms, such as the chairs, blankets and carpentry were damaged, broken, or worn out. The first room we were given had a strong smell of mold, so we contacted Eren who immediately helped us and moved us to a renovated room which were very good.However, the next day we were moved again to another room near the reception, that two rooms were reserved for guests who were arriving that day and later to a different room on the second floor. During our five-night stay, we had to change rooms four times, which was very inconvenient and made it difficult to relax and enjoy our vacation. The staff were always kind, welcoming, and helpful, and they deserve recognition for their excellent service. Mr. Džafer owner of the hotel, who solved and eliminated problems with his employees, says that he wants to keep the traditional things in the hotel, and therefore its spirit, and that it takes time. I'm sure he'll do it because he's a good, smart and kindly man.

lack of hot water at night, the room had a noise problem (as if the windows were open). I asked for a double bed and there were 2 beds close together, the breakfast was small and poor. the coffee was terrible

The staff of the Asmali hotel are excellent day and night. The rooftop breakfast is a great way to start the day with an enormous selection of cold and hot foods. Something for everyone. Our favourite was the plainness of the rooms which were cool and relaxing after a hot days walk through Istanbul. Air-conditioning was welcomed each evening. We would visit here again when next in Istanbul.

I had an amazing experience staying at this hotel during my visit to Istanbul. The location couldn't have been better—just a short walk from all the main attractions I wanted to see, which made exploring the city incredibly convenient. The staff were exceptionally courteous and accommodating, going above and beyond to ensure my comfort. They helped me arrange a taxi to the airport with no hassle, and what truly stood out was their kindness when I accidentally left behind some souvenirs I had purchased for my family. To my surprise and gratitude, they managed to mail them to my next hotel in Turkey. That level of service is rare and truly appreciated. Each morning, the breakfast was an absolute delight—more like a daily feast—with a wide variety of delicious options to choose from. It was the perfect way to start the day. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Istanbul. The warm, helpful staff and excellent location made it a memorable stay. They did amazing!

Great location, clean, cozy room, excellent breakfast. The hosts were also very nice.

The location of the hotel is perfect. It is in the old center, near the Blue Mosque, markets, 10 minutes from the public transport. The staff is very kind, telling you what you can visit in Istanbul. The breakfast is varied. The quadruple rooms are a little bit small. But the bathroom is big enough and clean.

Exceptional

The stay was just amazing, for this money, this is perfect variant. The food was delicious. Yes this is not 5 star hotel, but you pay not so much. Great hotel for this price. I would say amazing. Thank you. It was to hot during the night :) This is great, but from other side, not so much great.

The staff was very friendly, the location of the hotel is wonderful, we enjoyed our stay greatly. A nice hotel in the old town centre with many landmarks and sightseeing options, everything is in walking distance from the hotel.

From the second we arrived Cafer went over and beyond to make us feel welcome. He gave advise as to which sights to see with directions too. Breakfast was also good. Accommodation is always better if the host is pleasant and that is exactly what we got. Thanks for being so amazing to me and my family. We appreciate it
