The location is excellent being close to Hagia Sophia etc, shops & restaurants. The hotel is clean & well maintained, while the staff , who are super friendly, helpful & efficient made us feel very welcome. We also enjoyed a hearty breakfast each morning of our 3 day stay. Our room was small but contained everything we needed.

The hotel is nice and close to the main attractions in the old town. The room was comfortable for three people, and the views from the top-floor dining terrace with the sea view were very beautiful. Also, the staff was very helpful during check-in; they allowed us to check in early and even let us have breakfast on our check-in day. However, we faced a major issue with the location map. The location mentioned on Booking.com is different from the actual location by around 150 meters. I specifically booked this hotel because it looked closer to the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia on the map, so this discrepancy caused us a big disappointment. Because of the booking conditions, I also could not cancel it. When I complained, the hotel staff could not satisfy us about this mistake and they were not apologetic either. Also, there is no lift in the facility.

The Ayasofya Hotel-Special Class was outstanding for our stay in Istanbul! The staff was extremely helpful with airport transfers and recommendations, and the breakfast was fantastic each morning— so many options, and Ece and the breakfast team went above and beyond preparing Turkish coffees and chatting with all the guests, we felt very special and well looked after! The quadruple room for our family of 4 was perfect— both bedrooms were large, had sitting areas and closets which was very comfortable. There was a large shower, plenty of hot water and everything was very clean (as well as great air conditioning!) The location was fantastic— close to the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sofia and it was easy to get to other parts of the city using the trams! Would definitely stay again if we return to Istanbul!

We absolutely loved our stay at Ayasofya hotel. The staff especially Farit was sooo nice and always greeted us with a smile. Every single person, from the manager lady in the breakfast area and the amazing chef who fed us delicious breakfast every morning and the guy who was at the reception in the evening (forgot his name) were soo kind. They all made us feel home. We will definitely come back if we visit Istanbul again and highly recommend it to everyone. Nothing

This accommodation truly exceeded our expectations. The rooms were beautiful, with tasteful furniture and lovely decor that made the whole place feel elegant and comfortable at the same time. What made our stay especially memorable was the wonderful staff. A special thank you to Egi, the young lady who was always around from breakfast time until later in the day, always smiling, helpful, and making sure guests felt welcome. We also really appreciated the young man at the reception — unfortunately we forgot his name — who kindly prepared tea and Turkish coffee for us anytime we wanted. The genuine hospitality of the staff made us feel at home, and we would happily stay here again.

Excellent stay. The breakfast was incredible, and the staff were extremely kind and helpful in accommodating us throughout our visit. Their hospitality made a big difference, and we would definitely recommend this hotel.

I liked the warmness and serviability of the people, the rooftop with a very nice view where we took breakfast every morning and possibility to go to the rooftop anytime. The bed also was very confortable. If you have a room near the reception starting 7 am in the morning can be a bit too noisy if you are a light sleeper.

Staff were very helpful and accommodating with requests. The rooftop terrace was fantastic, with a view to the anchorage in the Sea of Mamara over to the entrance to the Bosphorus. The hotel doesn’t have an elevator

Staff were very helpful, especially the manager. Every morning at breakfast she made sure to ask what we had planned for the day and offered tips and suggestions. Rooms were clean and comfortable, although a bit smaller than they appear on the pictures. Bathroom had a slight smell, although it was attended to as soon as we reported it.

The view was amazing, the staff accommodated our early check in and provided a lot of information about local attractions, breakfast was excellent. Not much. The guests in the room beside ours were very loud but other than that, it was great.
