The hotel was under construction, no information was given about the construction, we booked 2 rooms one double bed room and a triple room with 3 beds, once we arrived at the hotel we were told the room is not ready from the beginning our holiday was ruined, I have 3kids it was very difficult, the hotel promised me the room will be ready tomorrow the hotel gave us 2 double bedrooms on 2 different floors which was very difficult as I have kids the next day when I asked is the triple room ready she said no it’s not ready the room was under construction after 4 days the room was ready but by then it was to late I told her my kids have asthma all the room is full if dust and had very bad smell due to work that was happening I’m very disappointed one of the worst experience I had .

The host and people running the place were accomadating and the location was quite good relatively close to both the Hagia sophia, blue mosque and the palace. There was no window in the room, the beds were hard and uncomfortable but most of all there was horrible mold all across the roof of the bathroom and we came back all coughing and not feeling 100%, we changed hotels in the end. The breakfest was hit or miss once getting and omelet and once getting cold french fries.

The room is clean and nice. Breakfast is not choice, but fixed set that they cook every day. On the reception in the bar can get hot water etc, but in the room no kettle. All the reception are Russian or Kazakh people. Noise isolation isn't good, you can hear everything from the other rooms. The location is down the hill, so every time to the tram you need to move up the hill. It's difficult with the luggage.

The location is good The guy sitting at the reception didn’t know about my arrival and the room wasn’t prepared since the staff didn’t put my reservation into their internal system, although I texted them in advance via Booking letting know about my late arrival. Obviously it was not my fault, however they were acting as it was my fault, arrogant and rude without even apologizing at least. The room wasn’t prepared, moreover some other guys were staying there. So I had to wait 20min for my room to be cleaned. Finally, when I got to the room, there were someone’s male shoes and a little puddle in the bathroom. In the morning I got up and planed to go out at 7am, I didn’t even get surprised when there was other guy (probably second receptionist) sleeping at the reception and the main door was locked, so I had to wake him up in order to just go out. I do clearly understand that when the person pays low cost, so he shouldn’t expect high service. But I’m sure that on time prepared and properly cleaned room + not sleeping and hospital receptionists are must have conditions of any type of accommodation. At the end I wasn’t even offered by any discount, since as I was told by staff “it’s Turkey, no discounts”. I do travel a lot around Europe and Turkey. And this is my worst stay ever in my life. I wish I didn’t stay there and to be fair I’d expect a compensation or at least partly refund of the reservation from Booking since the “hotel” wasn’t able to even apologize.
