It is very old, needs renovation, especially bad. Stuff was not very nice. Breakfast was too expensive and not worth the money. Overall is not worth the money.

Great location! I was easily able to walk too many restaurants and beautiful sites. Also the ferry to cross Bosphorus is a short walk ( 10 min. ) The air conditioner didn’t work and I would wake up sweating throughout the night and the window barely open, and there was no circulation. I have asthma and this is not good for me. I specifically pick a room with air-conditioning to avoid this problem. The refrigerator did not work they came a couple times to work on it and they still cannot get it working so I was not able to put my groceries or leftover food in there or keep water cold. Again , this was one of the amenities I really wanted & one of the reasons why I picked this place. The view is not of the city like advertised. It was a view of a construction site and a couple of houses. The city was in the opposite direction and you cannot see it from this room. The rooftop was closed. I operate a travel service and needed to take photos and videos to show my clients. I was lied to my staff and told there was a private event there every night , when in fact there was construction going on & it was closed. The elevator wouldn’t even take us to the top floor. Either way, they should not be advertising the rooftop on Booking.com when it’s off-limits. This was supposed to be the highlight of my trip for marketing purposes. When I expressed my concerns to the staff, they were very friendly, but they did nothing about it, and they offered me no refund. They did not fix one problem. They did apologize and offered me cold water from the bar each morning. They entered my room to “ clean “ when I specifically asked them not and had the red light on outside. They fixed up the bed, but they did not do the bathroom. They never replenished the soaps or the toilet paper, which is fine with me. I got my own. That’s not a big deal.

The location Nothing

Friendly staff ☺️ The air conditioner in the room was not working - it was very hot at night. There was no bathrobe, comb, or toothbrush in the room. I booked a room with a view of the evening city, and eventually got a room with a view of the construction site. On the first day in the morning, I ordered room cleaning, but it was cleaned only the next day.

The staff charged me twice firstly during check in and at the check out telling me that first amount will be refunded in two hours. They didn't tell about this rule in advance and I was confused and angry for this issue

Sea view room is excellent except the metal bars blocking the sunset :)

Location and view

The location is excellent—right in the heart of Kadıköy, with easy access to the metro and ferry stations, making it very convenient for exploring the city. The room was very comfortable, especially the bed and sheets, which made for a great night’s sleep. The view is also impressive, particularly from the rooftop, where you can enjoy a wide and beautiful panorama of Istanbul. I do wish they had a larger designated smoking area.

Room was small and furniture outdated
-
The bathroom has a banyo as the only facility for shower which is not comfortable for us

The location and the views were good. The staff is terrible, rude and entitled and disrespectful, a bit racist as well. I’ve asked for plates and cutlery to the room and my dad also asked for them and 2 hrs passed by and no one came. My dad went down to get the plates and heat up some food they got for me as this was on my wedding reception day. They kept sending him back and forth to go the kitchen and manager and main desk. In the end they said the policy was not to heat outside food and my problem is they could say that in the first place. Now as soon as my local in-laws came in, staff had very different behaviour. If these people do not want to serve foreigners or tourists then they shouldn’t be working at the hotel, just close it or find a different job. I’ve never had this experience before in any hotel anyway, very rude behaviour in general and very unprofessional gestures and facial expression that tells you you are not welcome there. They went above and beyond for the booking that my partner made under his room as he was a local person.

The hotel could have one of the best locations on the Anatolian Side. During my three days stay in Istanbul, I took the ferry from Moda to cross the sea several times. The dock is only five minutes away from the hotel, so I never had to worry about getting stuck in the city’s traffic. The front desk staff were polite and professional. They treated each other in a friendly manner in front of the guests. The housekeeping staff also did a great job every time. The “Lagazetta” Restaurant, which also offers room service, was a bit hard to reach by phone. Each time I called, my first attempt went unanswered, and they picked up on my second or third try. On my first day, I assumed that it might just be a rush hours for them. But the same thing happened on the following days at different hours. So if you think you might get hungry, it’s a good idea to plan ahead and allow at least half an hour just to place your order. I also felt a little uncomfortable seeing such a strong security presence at the entrance, and the staff didn’t always come across as warm or welcoming. While I appreciate the importance of safety, the approach at times felt more like entering a military base or that kind of restricted area than arriving at a hotel. With the help of modern technology and a few guest friendly adjustments, I’m sure the hotel could maintain its high security standards while creating a more relaxed and inviting atmosphere.
