Four Doors Hotel

The hotel’s location is great—you can reach all the main attractions (I mean tourist spots) on foot. The staff are kind and helpful, and it is also safe for solo travelers. The room was clean. I would choose this hotel again on my next visit. The only thing that could be improved is providing breakfast, toothpaste, and water. The only minor downside was that breakfast wasn’t included, toiletries like toothpaste and a toothbrush weren’t provided, and drinking water was available at an extra cost.

The hotel is located in a convenient location, pretty close to the tram stop and also walking distance to main attractions. The room was good. Breakfast was fine with enough choice. The staff was nice but now and then we had issues communicating as their English was very basic. In one of the rooms we booked the shower door wasn't closing properly. It's worth it to get it fix as it's flooding the floor each time a shower is being taken.

Good location, really comfortable bed The breakfast was boring, the same every day in a cold small place. The eggs and everything was cold, the women in the kichen wasn't kind , wash the dishes while you eating, and rude when you would like a 2. plate...

The place was affordable and decently appointed, the manager was wonderfully friendly and polite. So conveniently located. I would definitely stay there again. All of the bed pillows were firm, too firm for me. Even went down to the single room at the end of the hallway to see if I could find a softer pillow and could not. Having at least one less firm/softer pillow as an option would be most helpful.

Overall, we had a great stay at Four Doors hotel for a whole week. The location is excellent and saves so much time, since most of the things are within the walking distance Rooms are perfectly fine as long as you don't have unreasonable wishes / expectations - comfortable beds, very clean (daily cleaning service), and comparably quiet. Breakfast was very decent, however, same is served every day. Overall, I would definitely come back to Four Doors hotel for my next stay in Istanbul and I can highly recommend this hotel.

Only the location I regret to say that my recent experience at this hotel was quite disappointing and unfortunately, impacted negatively our first visit to Turkey. Primarily due to the disrespectful, mean, unhelpful, and unfriendly behavior exhibited by the reception staff. Throughout my stay, I encountered numerous instances where the staff members were dismissive, rude, and uncooperative. Their lack of professionalism significantly detracted from our overall experience at this establishment. The last day they wouldn’t even let us eat breakfast, or at least a coffee or tea before leaving, even though it was already paid for. They said our transfer was waiting and we needed to leave, and they even closed the doors to the dinning room so we couldn’t enter. They put my parents, who are in their seventies in a room at a building next door that they advertised as “ocean view” and you can barely see it, it doesn’t have an elevator and when we asked nicely to place change the rooms to the main building that does have elevator, they rejected this request saying the hotel was at full capacity when it clearly wasn’t. They didn’t help with luggage, they wouldn’t help when we asked for directions or recommendations, etc. so many examples. I hope that they take this feedback seriously and consider implementing measures to improve the quality of service provided by their staff.

The space was small but very clean.

The property was really clean and the employees really nice and helpful. They gave us tips and helped us with our taxi reservation. They also answered quite fast when we send them questions through Booking. The room was as in the pictures. The breakfast variety was good and everything was tasty. The WiFi signal was also good and quite fast. The location was ideal for sightseeing travellers. It was 10’ walk from all major locations (blue mosque, Ayia Sophia, Top Kapi etc). It was also a 6’ walk from one of the main tram lines (T1) that takes you also to the Galata Port. Finally it was a 10’ walk to the Grand Bazaar. Really good location. Will certainly stay there again if I visit Istanbul.

Amazing breakfast, amazing staff, very clean, great heating. The breakfast lady was fantastic. The cleaning lady was awesome.

Good value for money, great breakfast, very central location, close to many sights. The noise from the street and other rooms was really loud, I don't think there was any soundproofing done to our room. The cleaning could have been better, found some hair and stains on the pillows. There were some minor issues with the room like loose power socket in the bathroom, leaking toilet, we ran out of hand soap and it was not restocked.

Everything was excellent. Location, staff and service. It was even better than we expected. We enjoyed our stay and Bosphorus view from the room. Thank you to the management and very helpful staff. Wish you good luck ?
