When we revisited the property for drinks after checking out within 2 days as we stay in four seasons hotel in Bosphorus, there was decreased hospitality ie un-necessary questions to answer just for coffee and juice!

Pros: Unbeatable location for touring Sultanahmet (old town), especially for first-time visitors to the city. Exceptional staff: very attentive and friendly. Excellent restaurants--breakfast was great and dinner at Avlu was top-notch. Luxurious comfort, yet not ostentatious. The room was spacious and clean, the pillows and linens were a dream, as were the towels and bath products; the room temperature was easily adjusted, and the blackout shades were a game changer. Cons: The shower pressure in our room could have been better.

The hotel breakfast was exceptional and the staff were very helpful. Rooms are spacious and well designed.i loved the rooftop bar and views. The food there was also excellent. The hotel is centrally located. We received a garden level room that was lacking in privacy and felt exposed. There were workers tending to the garden right in front of the windows during daytime. Plus it did not get any light. The staff made it sound like we were upgraded to a better category but that really was the worst for our first trip to the hotel. Also the congestion of the area and entrance of the hotel is a bit frustrating. Hotel is definitely old luxury but it could do with revising prices as on higher end and does not merit it for many reasons.

The hotel was exactly what we wanted: small, refined and located right in the heart of Sultanahmet. The staff were all wonderful, especially the knowledgeable and helpful concierges who recommended lots of places of interest off the beaten track that we could easily have overlooked. The restaurant, Avlu, was excellent. The gym, while quite small, has enough equipment for a good workout. The massage treatments at the spa were very good too. Nothing.

Everything this is my second stay here , the building itself is historic and it’s located in the heart of a historic area , but the main thing I love about this hotel and will make me come back many times more is their staff so helpful , kind and they remember every detail about our preferences in my opinion the best hotel staff in Istanbul Nothing
