Beautiful view from breakfast room

They gave me a lovely room, for my birthday trip, overlooking the Blue Mosque. Lovely to sit on the roof top patio and have a hot drink whenever you like. Very homely, great location, loved it. The bathroom was a bit dated but who cares

Emphasize the fact that there is no elevator. Hallways a bit noisy late in the evening

I loved the position and the staff were great and very helpful. The hotel itself is a bit faded and old but it had a great feel. Breakfast buffet was good - especially the home made cakes. There are lots of stairs so if if you aren’t good with them, then maybe somewhere else would be better. Bit like staying in an old guest house but suited me perfectly.

The Turkoman Hotel is authentic, well cared for & has wonderful staff.. and has GREAT breakfasts as part of the stay. Its location could not be better, making the walks throughout the city sooo easy. It’s the only place I’ll stay when I return.

Super location. Breakfast was correct but not superb, employees really friendly. They have a roof terace open whenever you want. Close store you can buy for meal, for drink, also some merchandising. Very hard beds, a bit uncomfortable. Breakfast shoul be better. Ad some scrambled eggs, waffles or toast. You know, warm breakfast makes people much better mood.

Very close to all major sites. Proprietor extremely helpful Room could have been a little better organised…small chest of drawers instead of table/easy access to wardrobe. Huge dominant tv not appropriate for foreign travellers. Overall…. Location and good staff compensated for this. Room layout

The roof terrace with very good views of the Blue Mosque. The electricity cut out on two days for a few hours. The heat is intense and air-conditioning is very necessary at all times in the summer.

Lovely staff and excellent location The 5:15am call to prayer, but then we had a view of the Blue Mosque. It kinda goes with the territory.

Generous and healthy breakfast. They will make you a real Turkish Coffee in the little pot if you ask. Fresh ripe tomatoes and 5 different cheeses - all fresh. Amazing olives and nice eggs. Wonderful yogurt too (not sweet - the real one, its probably home made). Breakast is on the terrace which is a delight. Very tiny toilet area but I am small so that was fine for me.

The location, close to all touristic attractions. Nice view from the terrace. I've been in this small hotel several times in last 10 years, and I still love it.., but I've seen it gradually declining under the maintenance point of view during last years. It is a charmy, small, cousy hotel in a fantastic location.. this is important, but not enough. The parquet in several rooms is falling apart, needing a drastic maintenance cycle. Same for other details. It's a pity because this could be a fantastic " hotel de charme" if property maintained . I hope to see it back to the old good days soon.
