Istanbul Sydney Hotel

1. It was near the sea. 2. Its roof, windows and doors was from wood. 1. The room was not soundproof; street noise from cars, motorcycles, and people was clearly audible. 2. Room service failed to restock toilet paper and soup, and the receptionist argued when I requested them. 3. There was a cockroach in the room. 4. The room was only about 24 m², not the advertised 48 m². I specifically booked it for its size, making this a blatant misrepresentation. 5. Cleanliness was appalling. 6. The following advertised amenities were missing: microwave, cleaning products, dishwasher, oven, toaster, safe box, outdoor dining area, air purifiers, iron & ironing facilities. 7. The photos are outdated, showing the building and amenities in much better condition than they currently are. 8. The breakfast area is on the 6th floor and accessible only by steep, dangerous stairs.

Staff were super polite and helpful. Rooms were a standard size. Breakfast was not good at all. Too many stairs with kids.

Close to bazars and restaurants The water cut off for the whole day,the staff were very rude,the heating wasn't working when I asked them to fix it they replied (you are not in a 5 star hotel)

??The staff is polite, very good manners and decent, the place is clean and good, the price is acceptable, everything is good, just some small things that need service. I recommend this hotel. Near shopping places and restaurants, the supermarket is under the hotel with very cheap prices, everything is close, only transportation and the train are ten minutes away by foot ?

the room wasn't that small but wasn't that big also, but it was comfortably spacious with three beds, a closet, a mini fridge, a small sink, a kettle, a TV, a coffee maker and few utensils, few towels and that's all the room was super clean, the view on the window wasn't as expected but okay. the breakfast was okay, not that wide ranged but okay, it's a good deal for the amount of money you're paying. the staff were kind and responsive and super sweet. the best deal out of this hotel is the area where its located, it's a somewhere of a suburb and downtown, it's close to everything (tram, metro, famous places) 10 mins walking max and if you're young 5 mins tops. the location of this hotel makes it a perfect choice because of the stores and markets near it, their prices are the lowest in all Istanbul if not all of turkey, BIM & A101 markets, also it's close to a huge clothing selling area that's famous for bulk sales but they make exceptions for tourists, i wouldn't miss it for the world. the shower was so small and can't fits two people, barely one person, the toilet was in the same room as the shower, but it was okay. there was a lot of facilities mentioned in the description but they were nowhere to be found, such as: bathrobes, a shred kitchen, dining table, toaster, oven, tumble dryer, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, drying rack for clothing, desk, blu-ray player, iPod dock, video games, cd/dvd player. trouser press, ironing services, dry cleaning and laundry, they included these services within the description as free and comes with the room but they were not. the internet was good but in the last 3 days it was so bad and slow. the big downside is the stairs, there's no elevator in this hotel and there's 6 floors (ground with reception, 1 to 5 for rooms, two room each, and 6 to the breakfast area) the stairs were real torture especially with luggage, and if you have elderly with you that's a mission impossible

Nothing Bathroom doors would not close. Laundries in both rooms were not working. Gas cooker was not working. Flooring was awful. Wallpaper peeling off the walls. Air conditioning would stop working. Shower head off the shower. Replacement was given. But was nit satisfactory Overall experience was a disaster. Breakfast was limited and had to walk up 6 flight of stairs.

The location is not too bad, about 30 minutes walk from old city. There is a big hill you need to walk up to get there though. The size of the room was okay. Breakfast was okay but quite basic and limited choice. Cleanliness of the rooms. There was no cleaning while we were there and no changing of towels. The room was dirty and a lot of things were broken. In our second day we were told we needed to move to a different room which was smaller. Only one key for the room which made it difficult if one of you wanted to go out. Stairs are very narrow. In the kitchen the tables and chairs were half broken and it was very narrow.

There was not really anything to like to be honest. Bathroom mainly as toilet was too high seated and whole bathroom on a slant making toilet slanted. Shower broken. Mould in bathroom and fixtures/sockets hanging off or glued on. Fridge with broken parts,kettle not working. Ac dripping.

the location, breakfast is fair and air conditioner, fridge we ordered a food deliver and the staff dudnt receive for us and the meal got lost. I had to go out to get another neal. We lost our order and our money

It was a 6/7 floor house turned into a small hotel The pictures don’t reflect the actual property, the breakfast is on the 7th floor no lift, breakfast is same 5/6 cold items everyday, 2 cheese, 2 veg, boiled egg, bread, tea, coffee. No changes at all. Stayed 10 nights didn’t even ask if we need the room cleaned or swap bed linen.

The staff were very very nice ? ?.The location is in the old city centre..By walking around 5 min you will find bus and U bahn(underground train)station..Kumpaki..The hotel is very old,but the room was clean.. Breakfast could be little bit better but for the money is ok..
