Klas Hotel Istanbul Old City

The breakfast was bountiful and the location was perfect ...walking distance to all major landmarks and the metro and other transportation are within reach..Loads of restaurants to chose...the staffs are helpful ??❤️

The Executive Room was quite large and has a great terrace facing the sun. The location of Klas Hotel was excellent. There are many restaurants and shops close by. The T1 Tram is less than a five minute walk away and goes directly to sites such as the Grand Bazaar, the Spice Market, Sultahamet Station, the Blue Mosque, Haggia Sofia, the Cistern Basillica and Dolmabache Palace. The staff are very helpful and accommodating. The restaurant team of Yacin, Nilay and Chef Hussain are very good. The Concierge Guest Relations team is excellent. I believe her name was Chaimie. She was great. The rooftop pool is good. There is some noise at night time from a nearby disco. The lifts are slow.

For breakfast, they were asking extra charge for the omlette and fresh juice! The coffee is instant coffee, very bad. The AC was very loud at night even if ot was on the lowest fan level.

The size of the room and the diversity of the breakfast

There were rooms with windows that didn't look out to anything. Breakfast, old bathrooms with duck tape.

Location was ok. It was a little far from the historic center, but this also meant it was quieter than it might have been if closer to the busy areas. Breakfast was outstanding. Staff was amazingly helpful and very kind. Room was very comfortable. It was impossible not to soak the floor when showering given that there was only a half door.

The staff was very friendly and the location was really convenient (close to metro) and lots of shopping/food near by. Free breakfast was convenient the pool was out of service. they adviced to contact front desk 15 minutes prior to using the sauna, front desk was contacted however 25 minutes after initial phone call, the sauna was not prepared nor hot. The room is very small, not at all like the picture

The staff are kind and helpful. The location is excellent, and the reception allowed me to check in early at 10 a.m., which was great. They also gave me a large room with a beautiful view on the fourth floor. Only the sink doesn't drain the water properly and the elevators are small.

The location was very nice and ideal access to main tram and metro stations. breakfast was decent, staff was amazing and lovely Access for cars was limited, hotel hallways were unclean, and need upgrading. Hotel looks great from lobby, but other floors had dirty carpets and our rooms both had many ants. we had ants climbing up to our kettles and our welcome trays, and also in our bathroom on our towels. Most things in the room were dirty like the lampshades and bed frames.

Location was good, it was cheap. The showers were very small. 50sm wide shower is not standard. As skinny couldn’t fit in there properly. Tried to upgrade to deluxe and even on all online biking platforms says there were available room, reception keeps telling it is full. Even pool in not working in May, they could keep the rooftop open as viewing place and chilling.

I loved the stay there. The rooms are very spacious unlike any other hotel I’ve stayed in in Istanbul. They have a sauna and pool as well, the pool is not currently active until June which is somewhat understandable but the sauna is. I only expected to have more variety and options for the breakfast where the pictures showed more appetizing options but still they had some good variety. The staff is extremely nice, respectful, and responsive, especially front desk staff, and girl named Shaima! Overall, I loved the stay there and it is very convenient and close to the tramway and metro. The only thing was that I expected more variety in the breakfast as advertised in the pictures on the booking website but it wasn’t bad overall.

The staff is amazingly kind There are some good restaurants and shops right in the area around the hotel and most tourist locations can be reached in foot The breakfast could be better and the dishes should get some labels for the non Turkish tourists so they know what they are eating. The rooms on the A level are a little bit claustrophobic with the low ceiling and spare windows but all other levels have very nice rooms with good value for your money.

A few things disappointed me. First, I had booked two rooms with large beds, but we were given rooms with separate beds instead. The receptionist’s attitude was completely unacceptable. They offered me a room that was only 6 square meters, even though I had booked an 18-square-meter room. In the end, they pushed the two beds together, leaving the lamp and electrical outlets right in the middle between the beds, which made the whole experience extremely unpleasant. At breakfast, a member of the staff responsible for guest relations approached us and, after asking for our room number, assumed that we were Slovenian. It should have been perfectly clear to the hotel staff what nationality their guests are, since this information is provided during check-in. This showed an exceptional level of incompetence on their part.

I have never seen such a small single room in my whole life. They also charge extra for some breakfast items. Be alert and check everything before booking.

The location of the hotel was excellent! Close to tram line station, close to buses and metro. A lot of restaurants around, exchange points with very good rates, shops based on textile elements especially. The room was spacious, filled with light, and the terrace add to the attraction of accommodation in that hotel. The elevetor works well, no long waiting time. A good selection of different foods at breackfast. Above all, the hotel personnel was very good, active helping me and other clients with all our problems. Veysi, Selin, Șeyma, Zeynep, Halin Adiyaman were all very helpful, and generally client-oriented. I recommend this 4 stars hotel and, if I will come again in Istanbul, I will find you again, for sure! not applicable

Room size is just optimal. Swimming pool was closed.
