Maranda Suite Hotel

The location was very close to a lot of the major landmarks but the hotel was right next to a very loud mosque. It is also pretty old and run down.

This place is fake. The pictures online are not from here. No breakfast was offered. We checked out the next morning even though we booked for 6 nights. I had to booked a real hotel. This is a motel. I even showed the staff the pictures online and he said it was not this place. Terrible, horrible experience.

Location, WIFI, breakfast, last but not least Mr. Omar Saad, he was of a great help to us, in all means Bit outdated, small room

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Anytime we needed something, they responded quickly and were always kind and professional. We are very happy with our experience and would definitely book this hotel again if we visit Istanbul. Highly recommended!

The rooms were squeaky clean, one staff member(omar) was exceptionally kind and helpful. The breakfast experience can get a little more work! More dishes of multiple cuisines would boost dining variety.

The breakfast was sufficient to start our day. Water, coffee and tea were always available at the lobby. The hotel location was lively, near shops and tram stop. When I booked, I didn't realize that the hotel is in front of a busy street, so it was a bit hard for me to fall asleep. I needed to use ear plugs.

Staff were really kind and helpful. Especially Omar was wonderful. Location is perfect to access public transport and near attractions. They have an airport shuttle (for a fee) that saves you the hustle. It was generally a good value for money. It is not a big hotel with facilities. It is good enough to have a en suit room with good breakfast to start the day, but don't exepct more.

The only thing that we liked was the location. The bus station is in front of the hotel and tram 2 min away. Also, the hotel is 20 min away from the grand bazar. Our experience at this hotel was highly disappointing. Upon arrival around 7:30 PM, after carrying our luggage upstairs in heavy rain, we were informed that the Family Suite we had booked was unavailable due to a “plumbing issue.” We asked to see the room to assess the damage ourselves, but the staff refused — which made us believe it had been given to someone else. The alternative “Deluxe Suite” offered was much smaller and of a completely different configuration. After several discussions with the receptionist and later the manager, we were shown another room with direct access to the fire escape — larger, but not secure. We accepted it only because we were exhausted. Other guests we spoke to mentioned similar situations, suggesting this might be a recurring practice. The room was cold, the blankets too thin, and the air conditioning unbearably noisy. The photos online are far more luxurious than reality (as an example I included the "professional" electrical connections of airconditioning), the stairs are steep and narrow, and the elevator barely fits two or three people. Meals were repetitive and limited. Overall, the stay did not meet basic hospitality standards and felt misleading from start to finish.

The staff were wonderful, so pleasant, kind, and helpful.

The staff are super nice and willing to help. Breakfast buffet is the best! A little cigarette smell in the room but I guess it is normal since everyone smokes in Türkiye.

Also close to Yanikapi metro station if you want to go to the asian side or Sabiha airport, plus close to the metro station to go to sultanahmet. 2- the staff Omar was very nice and helpfull, it was an enjoyable experience with him. 3- the quality of the service and rooms are great comparing to the cost. The breakfast is medium, not bad but also not great.
