May Hotel

The location is good– just a short walk from Sultanahmet, the Blue Mosque, the Grand Bazaar, and many other attractions. Although the hotel is situated on a hill, it is reachable on foot, though it may not be ideal for elderly guests or those with limited mobility. The staff is very kind. The room was very small, with an unpleasant smell from the drains and a cramped shower cabin. During the stay, there was no water for one full day and no electricity the next day. The walls are thin, so noise from neighboring rooms can be heard. There was a lot of dust, the curtains were dirty, and the balcony was not clean either. The hairdryer didn’t work, although a replacement was provided. There were visible damages to the walls, indicating that the hotel is in need of serious renovation. The food lacked variety, and the bread seemed to be from the previous day.

Convenient transportation near Tram T1 / Metro M2 , near food street ,market local , Bayazit Square , Sultan Muhammad. Grand Bazza The way up is a steep hill. Breakfast is too local.

i stayed for 8 days in the property. the property is located in a good location, around 400m from the metro station and the area is full of restaurants and shops, 300m from the beach and around 2km from sultan ahmet mosque. the property has two supermarkets beside it, a mosque and grocery shops. property is providing an ok breakfast, rooms are clean and the cleaning lady is really professional, beds are comfortable. and the staff are very nice and they can help you with a lot of stuff such as Bosphorus trips, Transportation and and plans for good prices, the property is located in a very noisy area where the noise stays on until all night until the morning. no water is provided in the room, or even a water heater. room is very tiny and i would say its much less than 24m. the area is a bit dangerous at night. i’m from jordan, but i noticed that the staff are very racist and they try to promote Turkish trips and services over the Syrians, staff shouldn’t be promoting services based on nationality but based on the quality and leave the choice completely to the tenants.

Everything was great, stuff and service and terrace with amazing wiew. You need to add traditional Turkish coffee in menu. Everything else was great.

Breakfast was very good.The person who looked after the breakfast was just exellent We were placed in a room with a double bed between 2 walls so there was no space to walk . We literally had to get on to the bed from the bottom of the bed.When I booked my reservation I told them for 2 twin beds I was not happy with what they gave us.I should get a refund for it. The second night at 3:00am there was a drill noise avery ten or fifteen minutes.So we could not sleep soundly. We did complain about the noise they told they were sorry.

Breakfast was delicious and nice. Room also was good.
