Clean everyday without being told. Good value for money as the room not that small for 2 persona, breakfast considered nice and location is very strategic for us No kettle provided in room.

The guy's on The reception was very professional and Kind, I appreciate their support during our stay, and as well they kept our personal extra Bags without issues Thanks a lot The Blonde old lady on the Restaurant was not respectful, she have a Weird behaviours with All of us, especially during Breakfast, She behaves like we are at her home with a disgusting gestures. Thanks anyway

The service offered by very very young reception people is great as they are all new Instagram generation. The rest now good at all like Jurassic Park treat. Not updated in nothing. I have got esthetic, style and lack of customer service shock. It was like a slap to the expectations of contemporary european traveler. Also, no english spoken. Yet, us tourists we pay for the stay. Also didn't feel safe in Istanbul and people were not that friendly at all.

I stayed at Maya Hotel for 5 nights in total. I liked everything about Maya Hotel. The location was ideal for me; easy walking distance to all my favourite locations: Grand Bazar, Aksaray, Kumpkapi, Fatih Mosque, Sultanahmet; all are within easy walking distance. I even walke to Eminonu (via Grand Bazar). Having said this, both Metro and Tram stations are less than 5 minutes walk. Staff was great, absolutely wonderful in fact. Everyone I approached responded extremely nicely. Rooms are nice and clean. Housekeeping ladies were always there to help. As you might know, Turks love to smoke so some rooms may smell of smoke; it's better to ask Hotel beforehand. Breakfast was absolutely wonderful. I never had a better Breakfast in any 3 Star hotel before. Reception staff were extremely helpful. I give you an example; I am travelling in Turkey and had a spare large suitcase. I asked if it can be kept at the hotel for 10 days, they happily accepted. This was a massive favour to me as otherwise I had to carry it unnecessary wherever I was travelling. A BIG thank you to all staff. Finally, you can not go wrong with Maya Hotel with their prices at all. I did read some negative comments and all I can say is if you are after extreme luxury, there are 4 and 5 Star hotels around. I am staying again at Maya Hotel whenever I am travelling to Istanbul. My first 2 night were in a room that was probably occupied by a very heavy smoking couple before me. However, when I complained, they moved me to a much fresher room straightaway, where I spent my last 3 days happily.

Very good value for money. You have everything you need to stay in the heart of Istanbul during your trip. Friendly personnel, clean functional bathrooms, air conditioning, daily cleaning, water in the fridge, breakfasts etc. Excellent location - most of the key city sites are within 20 min walk. Wi-Fi coverage could be better. If your room is far from the router, the connection can get quite unstable/slow. One could nitpick that interior design could be more stylish and cleaner (e.g. hide cables etc.).

I made the “last minute” booking since due to some weather issues I had to spend one night in Istanbul waiting for my upcoming friends. My Mom and I stayed in Maya hotel in 2004, so I thought it might be cute to stay here in 20 years. Maya was good in 2004 but today in 2024 I can say it is excellent. Great location, not very crowed streets, no tourist buses and slow tourist groups. Hotel is clean, bed linen good, water pressure in shower good, no smell, complimentary water and juice, very good breakfast (no champagne and strawberries, but all what we used to have for breakfast: eggs, sausages, cheese, tomatoes, crunches etc). Greatest option for 1-2 nights in Istanbul. The stuff was very helpful. All was good.

second time to stay there, clean, good location, nice and polite staff, handy transport to many tourist places, good breakfast. price could be reduced to attract more people as it was similar to some 4 stars prices.

Good friendly staff. Good thing there was an elevator. Nearby within walking distance of attractions, metro station and restaurants. The water in the shower was not draining well. There is only 1 bedside table for three beds. There was nothing in the minibar. Slippers are bad, wearing at all uncomfortable.
