Nobel Hostel Guesthouse

location is awesome very nearby to metro and sultanahmed square breakfast is good I did not room what I have booked. staff was complaining that I got too cheap offer and original price is too high. bathroom was horrible was smelly.

The location is perfect!! is very close to the most popular musks in Istanbul and has the most beautiful terrace that you can have a beautiful view of the blue musk and the Sea of Marmara. There wasn’t hot water in the top floor (4th floor); one of the top bunk bed doesn’t has an outlet (the one by the window corner), and the bathroom door of the 4th floor doesn’t lock.

property asked me to cancel the booking on the day of arrival. there was cancellation fee which they didn’t waive. Then I asked the property to cancel the booking by themselves. I got no responce.

Liked nothing Staff was bad. The air conditioning in my room was broken. There was no fan in the room. I could not sleep at all. Hotel refused to accept that the air-con was faulty. Very very rude staff. The breakfast was SO BAD. I met fellow travellers at breakfast and none of them liked the hostel. Please stay in some other property in the area.

We had booked a coach to Safranbolu which was cancelled with short notice. We could not book online with the alternative bus company so the wonderful man on reception booked for us over the telephone, paid WITH HIS OWN MONEY as our bank cards would not work and we repaid him with cash. Exactly the right cost, no scam and it was a lifeline. We are indebted to him. Air con and location. View from roof terrace. Roof terrace was not in use - seemed as though it was out of season/abandoned - and this was the main reason we had booked this hostel. We went up a couple of times but had to open close the door with the fire extinguisher used to prop the door open. No cushions on furniture and most was in a store room on the top floor. Just sad when you look out to similar roof terraces around which were full of people and life. No curtains in room - we made our own from the blankets in the wardrobe.

The deck has an amazing view. Unfortunately there is not more furniture or electricity available on the patio. If there were, it would be a really lovely space. The beds were all uncleaned when I arrived. I arrived several hours after check in began, so there should have been space. The bathrooms were extremely messy.

The position is perfect, right behind Blue mosque and Hagia Sophia. in the heart of Sultanahmet and very close to nice restaurants. The personal was very gentle and always helpful for our needs. the structure wasn’t perfectly clear and there isn’t curtains to close windows in the night.

price the place in a very crowded area no transportation next to it. Hotel stairs are very very hard and small and there is no enough staff.

Disappointing

The location is amazing: in the heart of the city, close to everything. The rooms were completely different than on the pictures shown. I couldn't use the blankets due to its dirty look. There was no lamp in one of the room. There was no TV like shown on the picture (not that I was going to watch TV, but important to be honest) At arrival there were no towels. Shower was leaking in bathroom. No basic hygiene material. The owner very very rude, almost in fighting mode... When I complained about the room, he simply said: "go somewhere else."
