The hotel is in the heart of Sulthanahmet, within a short walking distance to Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Hippodrome, Topkapi Palace, Grand Bazaar, Cagaloglu Hammam and many top restaurants. The rooftop restaurant offers sweeping views of the Blue Mosque the Bosporus and the Asian side. There is a very good breakfast buffet. The elevator works fine. Our room on the fourth floor had a terrace with a partial view of the Bosporus and a retractable awning, which was handy because it was very sunny and hot during our visit. The staff, in general were very friendly and helpful. We used them to arrange our airport transfers. My partner has mobility issues so we take Uber sometimes. Due to the limited traffic in the old city Uber couldn't pick up at the hotel. We had to walk to the corner and down a block for the pickup.

Good breakfast. So many choices.

We were there the first week they engaged the AC for the season. They had a circuit breaker issue that kept tripping off the AC. Unfortunately, they were unable to have it serviced during our week stay. It was a situation that was really no ones fault, I assume. Hopefully it is not always an issue.

Location was ideal for exploring the Old City. Staff was attentive and responsive. Breakfast was outstanding! Room was a bit cramped, but not uncomfortable.

The staff is very nice and the restaurant is very good with a nice view. Breakfast was very nice. The location can't be beat. It's very walkable to everything you would want to do - even walkable to the Galata bridge. We had a King Corner Suite which had a nice view of the Sea of Marmar. However, there is a large pillar in the middle of the room which makes the room choppy and not really functional as you would expect. There was also construction on the room next door to us our first day which didn't allow us to rest comfortably after our long day of travel. I would still recommend this room, which is on floor 3 as compared to the floor 2 rooms where we have stayed prior and are much noisier as they sit above some sort of shop that opens at 6am and makes a lot of noise. The walls overall seem to be on the thin side. Also, we were there in April and there is no air conditioning despite what the booking.com listed. At least in this room. We were told the unit on the wall was for heat only. So they brought us a fan and we were able to open the windows a bit (though it can be noisy trying to sleep with the windows open). So keep in mind there is no AC unit in this room.

The staff was friendly and helping, Breakfast was good, location is excellent. Outdoors rooftop restaurant was amazing AC is adjusted to heating mode only during winter, the only way to get cooled air is to open the windows where you cannot sleep from the noise outside.

This hotel beyond exceeds expectations. The location of this hotel just literally cannot be beat. You are in the center of the old city, where 90% of the historic aspects of Istanbul are. You can see such a beautiful and breathtaking 360 view from the rooftop restaurant where Hagia Sophia and blue mosque look to be so close. The breakfast was the best hotel breakfast I’ve ever had, no exaggeration. We literally were barely able to eat additional local food while we were there because every morning we would stuff our faces with such a wide and diverse array of food. There are so many local restaurants and stores nearby as well. At night (around midnight usually) we would walk about 2 minutes and reach a number of great restaurants. We had so many cats to pet in the local area (the whole city is full of cats) and the area felt ridiculously safe even at 3am we felt very safe walking around the area and even then many people could be seen on the streets (even older couples up until a little after midnight). We were treated like royalty here and I will recommend this place without a question to every single person traveling to Istanbul. Nothing. Wish I could’ve stayed longer. No negative findings whatsoever.
