The room with the balcony had lovely views and the air conditioning worked nice. The windows provided plenty of sound insulation on the 3rd floor. Necarti was very helpful in getting us settled into our room and checking out. The breakfast was basic and had limited cook food choices, nevertheless the continental breakfast served its purpose in providing a light meal for the day. The scrambled egg was nice with the provided bread. There are literally hundreds of places to eat in and around the hotel for more substantial meals.

Right in the heart of Old Istanbul and walking distance to the Mosques. Very beautiful, and a lovely park. As well as a mini flee market experience. Very Expensive! Enjoyed my stay, wish I could have stayed a few more days. Breakfast was great. Only downfall, TV did not work at all.

A nice and cozy place, very welcoming and attentive staff. Delicious and varied breakfasts. Clean, new and fresh bedsheets. Nice interior. Everyday cleaning was especially great! They change towels and bring extra water, tea and coffee every day. If we ever come to Istanbul again, will definitely stay there. ??☺️❤️? Nothing

We had an amazing stay at the Magnaura House Hotel and cannot recommend it highly enough. Everything about our experience was absolutely perfect. The hotel is situated in an incredibly rich, historical area. Stepping outside feels like walking through history, making it the perfect base for exploring Istanbul. Our room was spotlessly clean, tidy, and very comfortable. It featured a balcony overlooking an inaccessible, somewhat overgrown area of ancient ruins. While it might not be a manicured, standard view, looking out onto actual history was fascinating-and best of all, it meant there was absolute peace and quiet. We didn't hear a single bit of street noise, which allowed for a perfectly restful night's sleep. The breakfast each morning was delicious, fresh, and provided the perfect start to a long day of sightseeing. The entire team was incredibly friendly and welcoming. A special shoutout goes to Ikram at the front desk! He speaks four languages fluently, and his impressive multilingual skills and helpful attitude made our stay extra special. If you're planning a trip to Istanbul, do yourself a favor and book this hotel-you won't be disappointed

Great location, excellent staff, good breakfast. We got upgraded to a room with the view of the sea which was wonderful.

No so much light in the room

Convenient location within walking distance to many historic sites, friendly and accommodating staff, decent breakfast options. I wish the beds were a little softer.

Amazing location, excellent staff Hotel is outdated and I don’t believe 91.50 euros was worth it.

The location in relation to Hagia Sophia, Topokepi and Blue Mosque, and rest of Old City is excellent. This is a well kept small hotel with a good breakfast. Our's was a quiet room facing away from the street. Staff was helpful. Necati in particular was very pleasant and helpful. Fine place, rather basic which we liked..

Hotel is in a good location. We mistakenly booked this hotel rather than Magnaura Palace which had been recommended to us. We realized our mistake upon arrival. We would have stayed there anyway but this hotel is not adequate. Lobby looked like an old furniture storage room. Staff were not very engaged or helpful. Our room smelled terrible and when we opened the window to air it out, the smell of cat urine from the "garden" was overpowering. The garden was actually just a patch of weeds.

Clean room, comfortable beds, big wardrobes, spacious bathroom. Rooms are cleaned on a daily basis. The view from the rooftop is simply amazing. The breakfast is good. Excellent location, close to everything: mini markets (open 24/7), good restaurants, tourist attractions, landmarks, tram station, a bazaar, coffee shops. The staff, particularly the front desk staff, are very kind and attentive. Just being a bit picky, because we like more luminous rooms: we booked a room with city view, we got a bigger room with a garden view. The garden was not too bad (though unkept, could be deemed romantic). Cats kept visiting it (the best part of said garden). The only downside was that the garden was surrounded by tall walls and therefore the room was quite dark. We got breakfast on the house. All in all it is a very good hotel. We recommend it.

Location is perfect. Staff is very friendly. the room quite big with a balcony and very nice view. i would visit that hotel again. I would add some more dish on a breakfast. and i would fix some small but important accessory in a bathroom and in a room also.

Breakfast was good.

Prime location, close to most historical sights, museums, and public transportation. Friendly and helpful staff, especially Necati, who guided us to an authentic Turkish restaurant for almost half the price you normally pay in tourist areas. I will definitely choose this hotel for my next trip to Istanbul and recommend it to my friends.

Our room had a water view, very close to restaurants, rooftop bars and a small supermarket, walking distance to major attractions, city center and grand bazaar. Clean and updated bathrooms.
