At check-in, they said that everything in the table is free, but at check-out they said that I need to pay 1,200 liras.

The location. Perfect for weekend break at Istanbul Room is renovated but bad quality! All the hotel needs a better renovation. Breakfast not so good.

Charming Tram to Taksim Sq. 5-10 min walk to Galata Tower . Cleanliness:: rooms are clean . But may smell cig smoke because of some guests who ignore the No Smoking policy. But hotel staff was helpful in addressing it. Service. Very very accommodating. Room space . Adequate. We had 3 check in size luggage in a standard room Breakfast Buffet. A Delightful taste of Turkish breakfast. Some helpful Tips that may matter:: Breakfast: mainly Turkish with limited Choices of international dishes Location:: taxis or any transpo will not stop right in front of hotel (istiklal is a pedestrian street) but do note to drivers to drop you at the corner which is a few steps to hotel esp if you have luggage as nearby streets are sloped Room: TV cable is all you will get with few English channels. it’s not a smart TV so no chrome casting . so… Yes, we highly recommend Richmond Istanbul

From the price point and the pictures shared the property looks way much better than in reality, I believe the pictures are quite old and outdated . For the price we paid we were expecting a better property and infrastructures .

The hotel is really good location, the breakfast was really good, staffs are helpful and friendly Walking to the train station is abit down the hill and walking back is quite tired but everywhere in Istabul is hill

Great location. The staff were very helpful and friendly - Derviş was particularly helpful from our first day, including arranging airport taxi and more. They were all so nice. We loved the breakfast. We even had a nice view.

Most importantly, location was superb!!! Secondly, was the staff, if I had a names to mention- that would be Harun and Julide Emre from Guest Relations whom made our stay extra special and warm. And to fair, everyone was super friendly too! They even went out their own way to present a warm welcoming gift to celebrate our wedding anniversary, which I thought was sweet for a cosy 4 star hotel. I didn’t expect it but it was so nice of them! Oh one more thing, you can also book your airport transfer with Them directly, prices were fair. There was nothing to dislike, but if I had to choose, it would be breakfast and coffee machine ?. Then again, I can’t complain as my bookings came with it and i keep reminding myself it’s 4 star ratings- so no complains ? so to be fair again, it was fine

The receptionist Mr. Mert was very professional, humble, and respectful. The hotel has a very nice atmosphere especially the white suit. It is located in Istiklal street which is one of the most famous street in Istanbul.

Location was great. A little smaller than I envisioned.

The staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and always helpful — especially Harun, who also helped us with a restaurant reservation and remained smiling, friendly, and attentive throughout our entire stay. The rooms were very well equipped and spotless. The location on Istiklal Street was also perfect and very convenient for exploring the city. For my birthday, they even surprised me with a cake and a birthday card that I discovered when I returned to the room, which made our stay even more special. A huge thank you to all the staff at Richmond Hotel for their wonderful hospitality. We highly recommend this hotel!

The rooms are a bit outdated. The walls are very thin and one can hear everything from the adjacent rooms. Not only from the rooms , but washroom as well.

Amazing, spacious room with very comfortable beds and a cozy sofa. The windows are well insulated, so you can’t hear any noise, which makes for a very peaceful stay. The breakfast was also delicious. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful—they even assisted me with my luggage, as there are stairs leading to the lobby. The location is excellent, right on Istiklal Street, within walking distance of the metro station, taxis, and Galata Tower. Galata Port is also just a 10–15 minute walk away. The area is lively and full of restaurants, cafés, and shops, making it a perfect place to stay. Nothing.

Best location, lovely spacious room, excellent staff &service, delicious breakfast and a breathtaking view over the Bosporus
