Clean functional space, fun location and very friendly and helpful staff.

We had a wonderful stay at Şar Apartment Suites. The location is excellent – all the main attractions are within walking distance, and the tram stop is just a few minutes away, making it very easy to explore Istanbul. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with any questions. The apartment was spacious, clean, and well-equipped, with comfortable beds and air conditioning, which made our stay very comfortable. We also really enjoyed the fresh breakfast served every morning. As a nice bonus, guests receive a 10% discount at the restaurant downstairs. We would definitely stay here again! Nothing. Everything met our expectations, and we had a great experience.

Location and apartment Horrible WiFi

The staff were very nice and most of them spoke English well. 1) the internet is not good at all. If you are in need of internet, this is not a good place for you. Consider no internet. 2) you need to buy your own shampoo, dish soap, washer soap, 3) DOWNSTAIRS IS A RESTAURANT AND SEVERAL RESTAURANTS THAT THE WORKERS KEEP BUGGING YOU TO GO TO THEIR RESTAURANT AND THEY ARE SO ANNOYING BUT SOMETIMES IT IS REALLY BOTHERSOME. If you do not wnt to be bothered all the time in the street, this is not a place for you. everyone that works at the restaurants are going to bug you and beg you to go and eat at their restaurants. 4) the breakfast area has limited options and i only used their butter and I bought my own breakfast from outside. Also, the tea does nto taste good and you can go downstairs at the restaurant and get fresh newly brewed tea every morning for free. The tea at the breakfast area taste like it is brewed few days ago or it does not have good quality and probably very cheap quality but down the restaurant very tasty freshly brewed tea. Also, the bread factory is like 25 meters down the road and you can buy the best fresh hot and crispy bread for breakfast is there. That is the place I bought mt bread every morning for breakfast. 5) bothersome screaming voice from the mosques around the hotel is very bothersome. Several mosques around this place calling stereo type from 4 angels and very loud scream calling to go and pray 5 times a day, not only once.

Staff were so lovely, requests were accepted, and had customer service 24/7. The breakfast wasn't as expected, but the location was central to everything. The apartment was clean, spacious, and had great facilities like a washing machine. Lovely place and members of staff. Thank you!

The staff were incredibly welcoming and always ready to assist, which made the stay even more enjoyable. It’s clear that SAR Apartment is a family-oriented place, making it perfect for families looking for a comfortable and convenient stay in the city. That said, there are a couple of areas for improvement. The bathroom felt a bit old and could use some upgrades, and while the kitchen was functional, the facilities could be better equipped for those who prefer to cook during their stay. Overall, we had a fantastic time and would definitely consider staying here again. Highly recommended for families looking for a clean, well-located, and welcoming place to stay in Istanbul

Excellent hotel! We lived in room 1, right on the second floor. The room has three rooms, plus there is a kitchen. The room was clean, the beds and sofas were comfortable, there was a microwave, refrigerator, iron. There was no hair dryer, we asked, they brought it to us right away. We recommend it! On the first floor there is a cafe and the entrance to the hotel is through it. At first it was a little confusing, but then you don.'t even pay attention to it. Breakfasts are not very varied, but the price for the hotel is very reasonable, so this is not really a disadvantage, rather a statement of fact. It is enough to fill up in the morning.

No elevator and breakfast could be better.

We liked the location and the fact that all 3 of us could stay together To get to the apartment you have to go through restaurant and stairs which stink of cooked food! There are cats everywhere, in the dining room, getting onto the tables and also in the stair area where they poo onto the door mats!! Just disgusting. The breakfast lady was very unpleasant, wouldn't even say good morning back to us, if you ask her for anything she looks extremely annoyed as she spends all her time on her mobile!!! Would never go back. The old security gentleman was the best thing in the whole establishment. We thank him for being so kind to us.

Location is a major plus! Very near to Grand Bazaar, just a short 5 mins walk. The nearest tram line (T1) is Beyazit station which is about few hundreds meter away. Along the T1 line, we can access almost all the major tourist spots. Mosques are everywhere, every corner. As we travelled during Ramadan, I can't help but to pray at different mosques every night and all were short walks from the hotel. The restaurant is just below the hotel and there is no major issue to break our fast during Ramadan. There even plenty of restaurants to choose from along the street. Staffs were kind enough to help us all the basic necessities. Room was bigger than expected. They even provided us with private airport transport with a small fees. The hotel did not have an elevator, which caused a bit of problem as I travelled with my 70+ years old parents. We stayed at 3rd floor, thus need to walk upstairs. However, we were fully understand as most old buildings in Istanbul do not have an elevator.

The apartment was clean and comfortable. Rooms were spacious. We were grouo of 5 people and we had space :) The entrance is ober the restaurant, but it wasnt problem for us. It is 15 minutes by walk to Blue Mocque. We had a breakfast. It was simple, but good. Some bread, spread, butter, fruits, vegetables, soup, coffee, tea, juice and water. The kitchen doesnt have a lot of cutlery, any knife, any dish soup and kitchen towels.

Its our second time and will always be our destination. Very welcoming ,gr8 location,optimum for family. Very difficult to find availability
