The pictures from Booking are not accurate with the reality. The room was dirty, especially the sheets and the bad cover was yellow (at the bottom part). There was a persistent bad smell in the room. The curtains were covered in dust and had a heavy musty smell. Bed sheets with lots of wrinkles and stains. The walls were dirty and the paint was peeling off. One socket had signs of burned plastic. Old and stained furniture. The wardrobe for hanging clothes was yellowed, smelled bad, and the back panel was damaged (photos attached). The stairs were extremely narrow, which made it very hard to carry any kind of luggage—especially a full-size suitcase. We had to take everything up one by one, and our room (number 7) was on the 4th floor at the very top of the building. No elevator (lift) available.

Room was small, tv doesn't show anything so it's there for nothing, the wifi wasn't good

The staff was very friendly, communicated everything well in advance and the service from them was very good. The location was good too and we didn't have any noise issues. We would like more and cleaner sheets for the bed. We only got the base sheet and a duvet which was not 100% clean. The building is quite old, which is normal, but you could hear if someone was coming down or up the stairs and inside the room there were few things that need someone to look after and revamp/upgrade. Also, the room we chose was very very small. We didn't mind as we literally needed it for a night's sleep, but if someone wants to spend more time inside then they need a bigger room.

Location is excellent. Very calm street, 2 min from noisy Taksim. Very nice restaurants around + few small supermarkets. The room is rather small, although has small fridge and electric kettle + 2 glasses. Bathroom/shower is OK and clean. The bigger problem is with check in - I've got a message from the property 2 hours prior to my flight, requesting to provide passport scan in exchange for entry details. After exchanging messages via Booking how to send the passport scan, was able to send passport scan via WhatsUp, and only after I landed in Istambul, I got the the instruction how to get into the room. Rather nervous. It would be nice, if passport scan request comes the previous day to settle up check-in details. And owners should install key boxes for every room.

1- Quick check in and facilities 2- Location and accessibility 3- Away of bars noise. 1- No elevator. So if you have luggages or have problem with high floors, then it's not recommended. 2- Stairs are very tight and as a result carrying weights is not recommended. If you prefer a wide and large room then I don't recommend it.

it was fair for its price. excellent location and a quiet spot. the host was not there when I reached the hotel, although I noticed them a day before my arrival. it cost me an international call to phone them to give the internet password and hotel electronic lock combination.

The location is good. It's just next to the Istiklal Street and over all the place is well kept and clean The room was very congested. Couldn't even place my luggage properly. Couldn't move around. It looked more spacious in pictures than actually on ground

Location only. First of all the check in was 14:00 he gave me the room 16:00 then my booking was in Taksim Life Hotel he accommodated me in the hotel next to the one i booked Ada Homes hotel which was totally different than the one I’ve booked without even any explanation … the room was not clean, the bathroom was dirty and the curtains doesn’t cover the windows so it was difficult to dim the light in the room.

The shower door did not close properly.water was comin outside. Tv not working

Central, pretty close to main attractions. Good value for the money, host was very friendly. Very small room, difficult stairs, noisy street as it is is near taksim square. Neighbors always fighting. I didn’t like the pillows at all.

The air conditioner wasn't work properly.

My stay at Taksim Life House was perfect. A clean and comfortable place to stay. WiFi perfect. A big thank you to the owners for making stay perfect.

The property is good value for money, it’s clean and the location is amazing. The hosts were helpful and polite.

The staff was super friendly, polite and supportive with whatever we needed. The location is excellent! And they also offer slippers! We had a 3rd floor room and there was no elevator. There were also few holes in the bed sheets, although they were super clean and smelling nice.
