Asur Hotel

The Asur Hotel is a real gem for those looking for an intimate and cosy place to relax. It is a place that charms guests with its intimate atmosphere and exceptional hospitality. The staff are simply wonderful – extremely friendly, always smiling and ready to help in any situation. The hotel is spotlessly clean, and the nice view from the windows makes your stay even more enjoyable. The location is ideal – everything is within easy reach, and most places can be reached on foot, making it an excellent choice for those who value convenience. I particularly recommend this place to women travelling alone – the atmosphere here is so warm and welcoming that you can feel right at home, surrounded by a sense of care and warmth that is hard to find anywhere else. An added bonus is the chance to enjoy delicious Turkish coffee throughout the day, which adds a special touch to any morning or afternoon. The continental-style breakfasts are tasty, fresh and varied, guaranteeing a great start to the day. The Asur Hotel is a place with a certain magic about it – its warmth, tranquillity and charm make you want to keep coming back time and time again. I can’t wait to step through its doors again!

Good breakfast, with multiple choices. Need to be present early, as the food will be scarce if there are many tourists, and refill is not done often. I've enjoyed the turkish tea, but also the coffee (both available near the bar). Excellent service at all time. Plenty of restaurants and small shops nearby, also attractions like Hagia Sophia, Topkapi are within walking distance. Not about the hotel, rather about the culture: at around 5 AM, the mosques will start the call to prayer. Be prepared to be awoken each early morning.

Everything was good

Location is very good; breakfast is ok but too much cold food for winter. But maybe it is the cultural thing. The staff are friendly, especially Burhan, who is very kind and helpful. The hotel has a restaurant which is quite convenient. The first room I stayed in was very basic and the furniture a bit old, but the second one was better. All the rooms do not have a kettle but you can ask for hot water though. There are no tooth brush or toothpaste. But maybe it is a three star hotel.

Great little hotel close to major attractions and easy transportation. Very reasonable price (of course I stayed in the off-season) for a good size room and comfy bed. Staff was exceptional, and the breakfast buffet was welcome (wish they had Turkish coffee, though). The AC in my room did not work well. Walls seemed thin and I could hear the entire argument my neighbors were having late into the night.

Staff were FANTASTIC - friendly, remembered your name, unrivaled hospitality. It was my birthday during my stay and I ate at the restaurant one evening (which had great food + a discount for being a hotel guest!) and they surprised me a with a birthday dessert which I did not expect since I didn't tell anyone. Breakfast was also great, I will miss eating that way back home! I really liked the variety of local foods for trying. The location was also fantastic, was about a 10 minute walk (maybe less?) to the major attractions, and if you needed to go somewhere further the T1 tram was close by. The pillows weren't my favorite but just my sleeping preference. Overall, I slept well here :)

The location is excellent and just a short walk to all the major sites. The staff at the hotel were helpful and very pleasant. Hotel very clean and rooms also. Breakfast selection very good. I would definitely recommend this hotel. All was good.

The location is very near and walkable to all tourist spots. Very convenient and easy to locate. The breakfast is also so good, i enjoyed my morning breakfast so much! The AC was not working well, however since we were staying for 2 nights only and was out most of the time and we were so tired, we didn’t bother to inform. It should be checked.

Thin walls

Of course, this hotel was neither that fancy nor fashionable, unlike Hilton and Four Seasons. However, it was very good for the price. Staff were very friendly, and their hospitality was incredibly excellent! Location was perfect, very close to pubric transportation and major tourist sites. Most importantly, the buffet breakfast was amazing! Therefore, we stayed this hotel twice during our stay to Turky. None.

This hotel is everything you need for a peaceful, comfortable, and happy stay in the capital, Istanbul. It's a beautiful place, and the service is excellent. The staff makes you feel good and is very friendly. 100% recommended. Thank you, Turkey.

I liked everything about the property. The location is perfect - all big sights are within 10 minutes walk; it’s on a side street so hardly any cars or people. The interior design is lovely, staff professional and very helpful and friendly, and the breakfast and lunch or dinner food served is delicious. There is an outside dining area that is very nice. Nothing.
