Seher Hotel

We had wonderful stay at Seher Hotel and it made our trip to Istanbul even more enjoyable. The location is excellent. it’s within walking distance of many of the city’s main attractions, with easy access to public transportation, restaurants and cafes, shops. But what made our stay special was the staff. Everyone was kind and welcoming but we would especially like to thank Caner bey. Every morning we had plenty of questions about places to visit, transportation and local tips. He always answered every single one patiently with a smile. His recommendations and willingness to help made a big difference and made us feel very welcomed. We also used the hotel’s airport transfer service and it was excellent. The drivers were very professional, punctual and polite and that made our arrival and departure completely stress-free. Overall, staying at this hotel was one of the reasons our Istanbul trip was so enjoyable. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Istanbul, especially if it’s your first time in the city. The room we booked was a bit small but we managed.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the overall atmosphere was relaxing. What impressed me the most was the staff. Everyone was very kind, understanding, and always willing to help with any questions or requests. Their friendliness and professionalism made me feel truly welcome. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would be happy to stay here again.

Location The only good thing was the breakfast. After asking reception four times, they finally removed the tape that was covering our ventilation on the afternoon of day 3 — completely unacceptable to begin with. The room key card also controlled all electricity in the room, including the AC and fridge. Even running at max, the fridge couldn’t keep ice cream from melting. The AC had its own separate switch. We asked for a second room key so the power wouldn’t shut off every time we left, since taking your key with you cuts all electricity. The room itself looked run down — the second door was completely covered in tape. The bathroom only had shampoo, soap, and dish soap provided — though I’m not even sure the “shampoo” was real shampoo, since it was watery, like it had been diluted 1:3 to 1:5, and my son developed a lot of dandruff from it. After we insisted on the second key card, housekeeping made a point of switching off the power in our room, so in mid-July they made sure the room got as hot as possible and everything in the fridge melted. Unacceptable for a 3-star hotel.

The hotel is in a great location, the staff is great. I always return to the hotel because of a very positive experience.

Good Location

People that work at the reception are super nice, they will help you with anything and make your stay better. Location of the hotel is very convenient.

location was very good , staff was good also , specially Mustapha , he is a very good man and so helpful for us , the breakfast was not bad but its not wow , almost very standard . Rooms are very small even if you upgrading to a bigger ones stay very small for luggage to put and for 3 persons to stay , but i know that most of the hotels in Sirckici Area have small rooms for stay .

Great location. Good selection of bars / restaurants and shops in the area and only a 10 or 15 minutes walk to Sultanahmet. Close to the T1 tram and the ferry at Eminonu too. The room was basic but clean, warm and adequate. The bed was very comfy and the area quite peaceful at night. Staff were nice and friendly. Walls are a little thin. I could hear lots of noise from neighbouring rooms, although I wasn't in the hotel very much so it didn't affect me in a big way. I didn't enjoy breakfast. Not that it was bad, it was Turkish buffet style, which was not very appealing to me.

The staff was very kind and attentive The property is old and has broken furniture in the room, the last day there was water leaking from some area in the bathroom.
