I stayed at Avantgarde Urban Taksim and had an excellent experience. The hotel is very well-located, just a few minutes’ walk from Taksim Square and the pedestrian street İstiklal Caddesi — which made exploring the city very convenient. The staff were very polite and professional, and they even upgraded my room at no extra cost. My room was on the 8th floor — spacious, clean, and very quiet with no noise from outside or the corridor. They also served a lovely plate of dried fruits and nuts as a welcome gesture, which I really appreciated. The breakfast buffet offered a good selection and was very convenient. Everything was smooth and comfortable from check-in to check-out. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Istanbul. Didn’t like that I had to check out — I could’ve stayed much longer!

The location was very close to taksim Square, the rooms were spacious and clean and the staff were helpful and polite especially oguzhan! The swimming pool was not in use and the breakfast didn't have a great variety of choice.

My overall experience at the hotel was mostly positive. The staff were excellent – very welcoming, professional, and always ready to help. The food was delicious and well-prepared. The room cleanliness could have been better, as there was some dust, possibly due to the carpet. What disappointed me was that the indoor pool was closed, and we weren’t able to use it. There was no prior notice about this, which would have been helpful to know in advance.

The staff was very friendly and helped. The bathroom lock was broken, rooms were smaller than depicted. Bathroom accessories were missing. (The bath door of our room was broken).

They changed the room next day and the temperature became bearable after opening the windows as window locks were functional in that room. They should make changes so that every guest can manage temperature in the rooms according to their liking and comfort.

My stay at the hotel was truly enjoyable, and I had a wonderful experience overall. The reception staff were exceptionally polite, professional, kind, and friendly, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. Their hospitality added a special touch to my stay. The room was very clean and comfortable, and I was delighted to have a view of Taksim Square, which was a great bonus. All the facilities in the hotel were well-maintained and clean, meeting my expectations. The breakfast was great, with a good selection of items, though there is room for improvement in terms of variety. For example, options like omelets could be added to enhance the offering. That said, the breakfast was still sufficient for my needs, and I enjoyed it. In summary, I had a fantastic time at the hotel, and I would definitely choose to stay here again if I travel to Istanbul in the future. Highly recommended for a comfortable and pleasant stay!
