One of the staff was rude all the times I interacted with them & refused to give me a bill at check out. Construction all around the hotel and in the hotel so very noisy and no one cleaned my room while I was there. We had multiple rooms and one of the other rooms was cleaned daily so not sure what their rhyme or reason is. The rudeness of the staff was however the only reason I would not recommend. Breakfast staff and everyone else was great.

The hotel was in a cute, very convenient location close to all the major sights in Sultanahmet. Breakfast was very good, with lots of tasty Turkish options. The owner was friendly and quite helpful. When we had to change our dates, he was quite accommodating and even let us eat breakfast at the hotel on the day we arrived on a 6am flight. The decorating was quite nice. We had a great stay and would return. We were sad that the rooftop terrace was undergoing renovation while we were there, although it ended up being too chilly to eat outside on the days we were there to anyway.

The breakfast was excellent, with homemade food and something different every morning. The staff was super nice and welcoming and friendly and accommodating. The bathroom was roomy and efficient. Although the room was small, it was efficient and had plenty of table top surface areas to spread out and organize. The cafe was nice and multi-purpose. Good place to go hang out outside of the room. The location was excellent in a nice place of town. The windows were quiet and we slept well. Nothing really. I guess, the only thing is the building was undergoing some construction, so the front was covered in scaffolding and a large tarp, but besides ascetic appearance, the hotel experience was great. While we were there in the hotel, there was no noise or dust, so it mattered little to us.

Location. The staff was wonderful, especially Can at the front desk who went out of his way to make our stay wonderful. Unfortunately our stay coincided with an exterior renovation. Scaffolding and construction materials all around and on their usually wonderful roof top.

The Hotel is very cozy, clean e well located. The room is very spacious, the bed and sheets comfortable. The breakfast is really something, Turkish style and home made. Fresh fruits e some baklava! The location is very convenient, very close to the main attractions. Staff was very kind, polite and friendly. A loved the Hotel! They just need to improve de WiFi signal on the rooms. Everything was perfect.

I literally liked everything about my stay at Sari Konak Hotel. Mostly, I loved the staff's interactions with the clients (very cordial, helpful, kind and good sense of humour). You have great staff - don't lose them! :) The location is awesome, at a short walking distance from the main attractions: St-Sophie, Blue Mosque, Arasta Bazaar, etc. And lots of good restaurants in the neighborhood. Also, very close to Kennedy Avenue, where you can walk alongside the Bosphore and lots of fishermen (and cats) along the way. N/A. I loved everything about it.

Charming old family hotel. Perfectly situated to explore the sights of historic Istanbul. Lovely breakfast on the rooftop overlooking the Bosporus.

We loved staying at this hotel. Good location, about 10 minute walk to Hagia Sophia, etc., reception desk with friendly staff, quiet, roof top terrace for breakfast. They easily booked our departure airport taxi for 40 euros. The 2 small things that would have made this hotel even better would be to have a kettle in the room and a bit thicker curtains to block out more light. Also, our room was only one flight of stairs up so I did not notice if there was an elevator in case that is important for someone. However, because everything else was wonderful, We would still highly recommend this hotel and book here again.
